I called an hour before i wanted to pick up 3 dozens, and they made it happen! they’re so good, when i brought them home, we finished it within 30 minutes!
I’ve only ordered cakes here once or twice, i think they’re okay, the frosting isn’t too sweet which is why i like it. prices are good too!

I love their cakes. They’ll whip something up last minute but that décor is pretty bland. Show them a picture and give them a nice heads up and they’ll make it for you! Durian and pandan. Yummm…

These people lied to us. They were also very irresponsible and can’t get their stuff together. We ordered a fruit cake for our wedding, and I couldn’t find any fruits other than extremely sweet strawberries jelly. My whole family was shocked to find out the outcome at the wedding. We scheduled a tasting with them which they also forgot about, they made us some samples that had good fruits but our wedding cake came out completely different. They ripped us off, and the price was not cheap.
So basically, they lied to us, they forgot our tasting appointment and made us wait for 15 minutes, they forgot about our flavors selection when we called to follow up, and they made us a cake that tasted nothing like what we had at the tasting appointment.
These people need to get their stuff together. Lies on top of lies when doing business is not going to get you far. I hope they learned their lessons
and don’t do the same to another couple.
If you’re having a wedding, stay far away from this bakery.

4.5 stars! We ordered 3-​tier pandan cake with a mix of fillings made of custard and coconut and they were a hit at our wedding! Lots of our guests hadn’t had pandan cake before, but they were asking around the wedding what the flavor was (since they couldn’t really pin point what the flavor was). It was one of the biggest hits at our wedding. The cake was beautifully made and was reasonably priced. I believe the best part about Mimi’s Bakery was the cake texture that was light and not as buttery and sugary as typical western cakes. We opted for a cake with basic flower decoration and it turned out great! However, if you were to go with fancy decoration, be ware as I believe the décor can be a hit/​miss as well, as there may be communications issue and the piping details may not be as sharp as you expect. If you are looking for a basic cake with fresh flowers, however, this is best place to go for your wedding cake.
We also ordered flowers for our bouquet, boutonieres, corsages as well as centerpieces and other floral decoration for our wedding ceremony and reception. The price is extremely reasonable. If you are not too picky with the type and exact color of flowers that you’d like, this is a great place to get your flowers. However, if you have specific flowers/​exact color palette, the colors can be slightly off from your expectations though. For us, we didn’t have exact color palletes in mind. All we wanted was some colorful flowers, so it worked out perfectly.
Mimi’s did delivered a little bit on a late side (about an hour late), so make sure you call them to confirm and give them plenty of time to come set up. I’d buffer additional hours to make sure you are not asking them to deliver right before your party/​ceremony. For us, we asked them to deliver 2.5 hours before our ceremony, and they came around 1.5 hours before our ceremony, so it was still fine with us. Our parents were really happy with the quality and looks of the flowers. They smelled wonderful and was definitely fresh/​very presentable. The bridal bouquet was fresh and held up well even several days after.
Best of all was the prices. They were definitely some of the best/​more affordable alternatives among other wedding florists out there. Beware that you can’t be too picky/​too specific. and if you are open to taking some risks and allowing them to put together the flowers for you, this is definitely a good place to get your cake/​flowers needs for a good price!
