It was $ 10.39 for chicken teriyaki and gyoza, not on a lunch special. The lunch special was actually more than buying it from the menu! Jeez. This is a staple of the Seattle food landscape, so we all know what a deal it is, for what you get and there are some great places which do this exact same combo for under $ 8.00!(I heart Teriyaki, Mikou, Mia’s, etc.) Those places are also slammed everyday they are open for lunch. This place is not and the prices reflect why. This plate consisted of a scoop of white rice, chicken and 4 gyoza. No salad, no frills and a complete rip off. I don’t understand why places like this feel they have to charge so much, for so little. The places that do the best business, are ones where the food is good and there is some kind of a value, making you feel like you stumbled onto a great lunch spot secret. This place has below average ambiance but the food is priced like something beyond the quality you receive. I will not be stopping in here again, and furthermore, will never recommend or mention it to anybody that I know. Complete disappointment considering there are few other places serving teriyaki in this area of town. It will only take one place, that understands the value of moving 100s of lunch specials, everyday to put this place out of business, and as far as I am concerned, it can’t be fast enough.

I had the chicken teriyaki with egg roll and gyosa. It was very quick and nit busy when i went. The meal was filling and chicken was cooked well. Not dry. Gyosa were good. A little greasy. No salad tho. Good teriyaki for sure and good prices.

This place used to be a really great place but lately their menu items have been differing from what is pictured on their website. Its frustrating spending $ 10 bucks on lunch and then getting something that’s completely absent of veggies. I’ve ordered the Kung Pao chicken and literally got two slices of carrot and two peanuts and a bunch of rice. And earlier today, I ordered the Chicken Friend Rice and got corn, chicken and rice. I thought I had accidentally received someone else’s order but was informed by their kitchen staff«That’s the way we make it now». Really disappointed. Definitely won’t be back. Business is clearly not doing well after the remodel.

Descent lunch special: spicy teriyaki, gyoza, eggroll, salad. We split it between two people and it was plenty for lunch. The teriyaki was not over-sauced, which I liked, but it also wasn’t very spicy — easy to fix with a few drops of sriracha. Basic, ok food. Fast service for a crowded place for lunch. Good value, especially if splitting.

Really expensive for the amount of food they give you. Was really disappointed and I won’t be spending my money here. Would rather have mall food than the bs they gave me

I hate to be in a busy restaurant around lunch time but a full house is a good sign and I was not disappointed when I tried Midori Teriyaki. As of now Midori is my favorite teriyaki restaurant in the Seattle area. What I enjoy most about Midori is how moist their meat is, also although they are usually packed during lunch time you still get your food fairly fast. If I order online I’m in and out of the restaurant in 5 minutes or so. Also they offer brown rice for a substitute for only 50 cents!

Teriyaki Midori is right next to my office and it’s very convenient. Because of the many options available I eat here often. The place is very crowded during lunch hour. I like the food quality and the speed of service. Spicy chicken with gyoza are my favorite. I would take away a star because I feel that the quantity is less for the cost. But considering that they claim to use organic and fresh produce I feel that’s keeping the price high. I don’t mind paying for this factor. I have never dined in here and always got a to go.

Very standard unauthentic non-Japanese staffed Japanese fast food. Think food court but with much longer lines and higher prices catered to the business folks nearby. I ordered a spicy chicken with a side of broccoli and it came out to $ 14! And most appalling were the sticky chairs and smelly bathrooms. I almost threw up from the smell when I walked into the bathroom, and I have a high tolerance for dirty restaurants…

Excellent place to eat at. Amazing chicken yakisoba and fried rice! The place is very clean and service is great! They have upgraded the place with new furniture and flooring! I highly recommend this place!

They have cut back on the extra rice and now they are charging for the cheap plastic salad containers for some reason. The food and portions are inconsistent and although I used to come here several times a week because it is close to work, I have cut back to once a week or every two weeks. They also failed their last food inspection on 1÷7÷2015, which worries me.

Went here early 2014. I’m reading a bunch of comments that the place has cleaned up? Take my review with a grain of salt I suppose. Once upon a time, I was the only customer around 6pm on a weekday. The outside reeked of urine, but I suppose it’s impossible to prevent the homeless from peeing in your entrance. Food is cheap teriyaki with packaged salad. The price may be $ but you can get a lot more chicken for less money at other teriyaki joints, especially in Redmond or Woodinville. Midori just doesn’t hold up well against other places– the interior is dirty, the fact that they got a health code violation should speak volumes about their quality control and philosophy on running a business. I felt shameful after eating here. The teriyaki addiction is strong, and my curiosity got the best of me. The rating here is already poor and people continue to go here– I guess the location must be convenient so business is free. If only the owners would read this and take advantage of this opportunity to really make something great.

Decent portion for the price. Chicken breast takes longer so I stuck with the dark meat teriyaki. Place is really busy around lunch hours so order online and pick up or wait until after 1pm to go there. Everything I’ve tried here is good, not GREAT, but good — and certainly good enough for the price and worth returning for a second or third taste.

Ordered online, waited for a bit because I know this place is busy, walked in, paid with credit card, got my included can of soda, waited another two minutes for my order by come up, accepted the food, and took off. I got the spicy chicken and it was really good.

Midori used to be kind of scary. I’m not sure for what masochistic reason I kept going there. I’ve found my way back there after a long break, and I they have really stepped it up. I’m not rushing there for dinner again anytime soon, but for the money, and the portion size, it’s a good deal. And Very fast. The food is good. Not great, but good. For a quick fast affordable meal, they’re okay. They really have cleaned it up in there though. Note: it is hot as hell in there.

SOBUSY between 11:30 — 1:30 I ordered online and by the time I got across the street it was almost ready. I only had to wait about 3 minutes. The chicken came with almost no sauce on it. So It was basically chicken and rice. I didn’t notice until I got it home. I also did not get the«free can of soda» they advertise if you order online. The reason they got three stars was because of how fast they were working. The workers out front were moving so fast and working really efficiently that the time it took to move everyone around was pretty impressive. If they could move that quickly and get everything right it would be 5 stars.

Our team just moved buildings from SLU to right above the 24 hour so I had pretty low expectations about the restaurants surrounding this part of downtown. One of the many great hole-in-the-wall restaurants you can find. Not the best Asian food I’ve had but pretty good grub if you’re looking for some lunchtime flavor. Portions are pretty good for me. Reasonable prices, good lunch specials, overall something you’d expect to something similar in the I-District. To make a point, I come here at least once a week. Favorite dishes: Chicken fried rice(+ mushrooms) or General Tso’s chicken. Ordering online also gets you a free soda or something like that.

This place is much better after the health violation clip on the news. They’ve repainted the place and moved things around. I usually get the chicken breast teriyaki with brown rice. It’s good, nothing special. Try to come before noon, it can get pretty busy.

The food is alright. Not too good but not bad. Very quick service during lunch which is great to grab a quick box to go. I won’t really say it’s teriyaki but the meats are fresh and the portions are decent so won’t complain.

I was dying for Teriyaki when I worked in SLU and then our office moved to northern belltown. I googled and Unilocaled trying to find a decent teriyaki place near by. Midori was a bit of a walk from my office but I had to give it a try. I stopped in around 11:30 and i was the only customer there. The waitress was quick and friendly. My order came out in a reasonable amount of time. I got the teriyaki chicken /gyoza combo and headed back to my desk. the chicken could have been a BIT warmer but it’s not a big deal. for almost $ 8.50 I was totally happy with my experience.
