With all of these glowing reviews, I really wanted to like Michael’s Locksmith Service. I purchased a new home and called this company to get my doors rekeyed. I work full-​time 25 miles away, and my partner 30 miles away… point being, getting back before the close of normal business hours takes a lot of effort. Since evenings and weekends were not available, we agreed on a late afternoon appointment.
We made an extra effort to leave work early to meet Michael. I arrived at our house 5 minutes before our appointment time. We waited another 30 minutes after, with no sign. I called, and was told that he came by early to look at our locks/​doors but didn’t stick around for our arrival nor did he call to tell us that he had been there. He said he could then call me later with a quote.
No return call. What a waste of our time, especially since we are not living in our new home yet and made the extra trip out there to meet him. I called another highly-​rated locksmith who scheduled after 5pm the day after this fiasco.

I did not get my lock cut by this guy, but he was such a nice person and took the time to understand my problem and give me suggestions and other people who might be able to help. Really a very decent person. Highly recommend them just by the persons character.

Super quick and reliable service. I came here to have copies made for my home keys and within 10 minutes i walked out with a pair of newly made duplicates. the cost was affordable (paid less than $ 6) and the couple working there were very friendly. of course people always mention parking, yes there is! well it’s street parking but the safeway across the street has plenty of spots.

Michael rekeyed two locks for us at a reasonable price, and picked our garage door lock for us for free. Super nice and laid back guy with a good sense of humor. Very pleasant experience. Seemed very honest. Highly recommended.

Finally I found a locksmith who’ s not only skilled but honest. He wouldn’t sell me a replacement lock when I didn’t need it. Michael charges a very reasonable fee, and he really knows what he’s doing. The guy was a pleasure to deal with. As far as I’m concerned, my locksmith needs are taken care of.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! I wanted another lock (deadbolt) for my front door after a neighbor saw someone trying to get in the door. When Michael came to install it, he said «You have a very good lock on the door and it would be a waste of money to install another one». He wouldn’t even take money for gas even though I I wasted his time. There is no doubt that I will call Michael for any and all needs for a locksmith!

FANTASTIC! PROFESSIONAL! HONEST! FAST! LIFESAVER! My husband and I had a horrible day and had our car broken into. One of the many things stolen were keys to our house and office. By the time I got home it was already 4:30pm, good luck getting a locksmith at that hour. I went right to Unilocal and there it was… Michael’s Locksmith Service, 5 stars and FAB reviews. I called, got his voicemail and left a message. Within in Minutes, Michael called me back. I gave him all the details, that I needed to re-​key 4 doors, which he knew would be 8 locks. Within an hour, Michael was here and working. Just an hour later, all the doors are re-​keyed and I feel at ease for the first time today. THANK YOU Michael! We were referred to Michael by a friend after buying a new home in North Seattle. Not only did Michael come all the way out from West Seattle on short notice, but did so on a Sunday.
He’s extremely easy to communicate with, friendly and professional. He got the job done quick and even gave us a discount when it was all said and done. If we ever need any locksmith services in the future, Michael’s the first person we’re calling.

I have used Michael’s Locksmith service since 2002. He came out today and rekeyed locks for my new doors. He is professional, knowledgeable, has a sense of humor, does a great job. As long as Michael is in business I will always use his service.
