It’s a nice break from the generic chain stores that clog up the malls and downtown. It’s on a strip mall in Laurelhurst, but when you get inside, it’s another world full of Victorian heritage jewelry and bric-à-brac at reasonable prices. They fixed my gold chain twice while I waited, no complaint, and helped me create a fabulous pearl ring for a friend for an amazing price, no pressure to upsell.

This is a great neighborhood jewelry store with reasonable prices compared to the more famous chain stores in Seattle. I bought a handsome Hamilton watch here for much less than at other stores or even on-line, where there is a question of authenticity. They also have watch and jewelry repair that is top-notch.

I’m not someone who wears expensive jewelry often, so looking for an engagement ring was pretty intimidating – this place was great! Not at all pushy and full of beautiful one of a kind antique and new rings. They were also happy to change stones or resize. We found a beautiful Victorian era ring here to serve as my engagement ring, and able to avoid the big expensive stores that give you the hard sell!

I got engaged and married last year, and I walked in and out of many jewelry stores, getting information at some, overwhelmed at others, pressured at a few. I finally found the right home at this Sand Point Way jeweler. They were patient and were happy to give me a little info, let me walk out, and come back with more questions(I must have done this three times). In the end, they set a stone for me in a not-too-expensive band, and we also bought our wedding bands there. They were so nice. I just have to highly recommend them(and this is from a guy who never wore jewelry or bought much before). Also, they do a big trade in costume and estate jewelry, which seems to be for the older set. I say at least give them a try if you are engagement ring shopping!
