I hired Michael Mallagh through Prudential Northwest Realty as my realtor for my first home purchase. Not only did he find the exact home I was looking to buy, he negotiated fair pricing and terms making the purchase a breeze for me.
Since my home purchase, the housing market has suffered through ups and downs. Through it all, Michael has been there for me to offer his constant council. I know that whatever I decide to do with my home, whether to sale, wait or rent it out, I can depend on his assistance. Despite the fact that his interim work is volunteered with no monetary reward, Michael continues to reply quickly, thoughtfully and with uncompromised enthusiasm.
There are many ways in which Michael goes above and beyond the call of duty or a typical realtor. Because I am often out of town for work, I have called upon him many times for assistance in picking up my mail or checking on my home. He never fails. This speaks to his committed, helpful manner. Yet, while he is the consumate professional, once you’ve worked with him, it would be impossible not to consider him a friend as well.
Since working with Michael I have recommended him to family, co-​workers and friends alike. He recently closed a condo purchase for my brother and is working on another purchase for some friends of mine as well. That Michael garners the bulk of his business via word of mouth recommendations speaks volumes in itself and I look forward to hiring him again.

Michael Mallagh found my first home! After looking at what I thought were all of my options, Michael suggested we look at one other listing… that became my new home. I wouldn’t have found it without him, and throughout the transaction I knew he would negotiate with the seller and get me the best deal possible. Michael is honest, listens to his clients, and makes himself available for questions… those are three important qualities in the person representing you in a real estate transaction. He goes above and beyond getting the house move-​in ready… he even installed my mailbox for me! I have told all of my friends and family about him because it’s easy to find an agent, but it’s rare to find one like Michael Mallagh!

Michael Mallagh sold our house in this difficult market — need I say more? Our house was a funky West Seattle home which we worried would be difficult to sell, but Micheal was creative and knowledgeable and got it done. He worked tirelessly to help us out in numerous ways — scheduling showings around our busy schedules, working side-​by-​side with us getting the house ready — even doing yard work (!). He also represented us as we purchased our new home, and guided us easily through the negotiation process. He even helped keep our children occupied while we looked at houses — I’m pretty sure they think he’s an uncle! Finally, when we were ready to move in, he helped us again with the laborious task of moving — again, above and beyond the expectations we had of our real estate agent. My mother-​in-​law, who has sold multiple homes, stated «I’ve never seen a real estate agent work so hard!» I want to add that his incredible work ethic is not due to the slump in the real estate market; we met Michael when he was the seller’s agent on our house the first time we bought, and in the peak of the market, he mowed the lawn himself before we moved in because he thought it needed to be done. Pretty incredible!
