Dr. Kovar is an incredibly caring and compassionate physician.
Years ago, when I was in the second year of my graduate program, and predictably uninsured, Dr. Kovar treated a significant medical problem and helped me find access to affordable medications to continue treatment.
Based on my positive experience with Dr. Kovar, Sweet Husband and his father both went to him. To this day Sweet Husband and I credit Dr. Kovar with prolonging the life of my father-​in-​law by several years. The situation was complicated but Dr. Kovar persisted, insisted, and followed up. He returned phone calls personally, asked questions, and listened.
He supported each of us. He treated each of us with dignity and kindness and helped us resolve and treat our issues safely.
Our insurance providers and locations forced us to other doctors, but if you are looking for doc in West Seattle, I highly recommend Dr. Kovar.
