Merkel Home Cleaning

Perhaps Merkel Home Cleaning offers a wonderful service… I have no idea because no one ever showed up to the home cleaning appointment I scheduled! The company doesn’t offer phone support, only email support (well, at least they CLAIM to offer email support 7 days a week on their website and voicemail message). I scheduled my appointment through their website and had received several reminders leading up to it via email and text, so it seemed as though everything would go smoothly. The day of the appointment, nobody showed up or emailed or called. I left a voicemail and sent an email, and still haven’t heard back from anyone 3 days later.
Thankfully, Unilocal was able to refund my money since I purchased the deal through them.

We were looking for a house cleaning company last minute to clean our house on a Sunday before we put our house on the market. I didn’t realize how hard it would be to find someone who cleans on Sunday! Our real estate agent had Merkel Home Cleaning come to our house to clean and they did a great job. They followed up with her to confirm, were efficient and left the house so clean and it smelled great. I also love that they use green products to clean. I would highly recommend them.

I have a hard time trusting people to come and clean my home as I’m a bit OCD and usually find things that others missed when they clean, but not with P&A!
It had been months since we had the chance to clean our house and while it isn’t cluttered too much, it definitely needed a good scrubbing! Our kitchen and bathrooms were in bad shape. I was leaving to travel for business and the future in-​laws are arriving while I’m away so I was really banking on P&A to pull through for me. Boy was I surprised! Not only were pleasant and hard working, they were also very meticulous, respectful of your home and things, and totally worked around whatever I happened to be doing. The showers (and grout) are not easy or fun to clean, but they did a thorough job and got it looking like new again. They even cleaned by the washer and dryer (I never get that far when I clean)!
The whole house is clean and smells fresh! I will definitely have them back, I already booked my next appointment! Thank you for your hard work and detail oriented cleaning!
