This garden is surprisingly large! It’s located near the bus stop across from Anderson Hall. They have a large variety of plants, including some common flowers. Their cranberry patch was really interesting– I’d never seen them on a plant before. They label nearly all the plants with little signs so you easily know what you’re looking at.

Even on busy days around campus, this tranquil spot is empty. You’re usually left alone to wander the botanical garden’s raised beds, sniffing herbs and enjoying the flowers. This is easily my favorite spot on campus — I make a point to walk through on a weekly basis in the spring through fall as new flowers are blooming and there’s always something new to see. It’s great learning the names of plants, and constantly quizing yourself to see what you remember.
