I am a picky customer, and hard to please, but Lloyd is hands-​down the best barber I have ever had the pleasure of being fortunate enough to have give me a haircut. He is kind enough to entertain walk-​ins, and he immediately started up a long chain of conversation topics, ranging from the philosophical to the more mundane, but practical. He is also genuinely interested in learning more about his customers in order to connect better with them and to put them at ease. Most important, he listens to you to understand exactly what you’re looking for (even if it means an atypical length or style), he is sharp on the uptake, implements his craft really well, and charges an extremely reasonable price. I love this «old-​school» barber shop, and I will keep going back for more wonderful experiences.

Lloyd has been my barber since I came to Seattle 10 years ago, and I agree with the reviewers here, he’s the best. The nice thing is that I never had to tell him what haircut I wanted, he has such long experience that I am confident to leave with the best possible haircut each time. Prices are very reasonable as well.
It’s always interesting and fun to chat, and see his new ideas and projects he is currently working on.

Consistently excellent haircut at a great price in a great location. I try to make it there for every haircut but my schedule doesn’t always allow for it… and whenever I go elsewhere, I am usually in Lloyd’s chair before long getting it fixed!

Best barber in Seattle — Lloyd is the real deal, and it’s apparent he takes pride in his work. I just discovered this shop, but will most definitely be making regular visits there.

Been going to Madison Cuts for about 15 years. Lots of places to get your hair cut, but very, very few real barbers. Lloyd is the real deal, believe it.
