Never Fails me. When Im looking to buy single slice pieces of pizza, I come here. Try their MAD breaksticks, amazing. I don’t know what they throw on top of it, but its green and amazing. Service is quality, and they have beer on tap too! The salads on top notch too, probably one of the best classic ceaser salads I’ve had in a while. Pizza is quality, always have all different sorts of pizza when I come in… Not just peperoni, cheese, hawaiin… But a Variety. I am MADFORMADPIZZA. Corny isn’t it? Fuck it.

We really like Mad pizza on lake city way… hidden among dollar stores, and a Sex toy store… stands this tasty pizza joint… The pizza does cost abit, which loses a star… but the slices are big and thick with toppings… personal favorite is the mad life pizza… with huge chunks of garlic and chicken… good golly miss molly that pizza kicks ass… and the crust is good… we usually get the pizza to go… but the store here on lake city… has a nice vibe to it… employees are all nice… and if you have a beer or two… theres the toy store just a few steps away to finish your night

Not only great pizza, but great customer service! My husband and I wandered in on a weekend for a late lunch. We ordered a salad to share and he got a slice. I wasn’t tempted by the few slices available, and the employee ringing us up asked what I would order if I could choose any combination I wanted. He made half a pie of my choice and put it out for slices. As soon as it came out of the oven, he came by our table to tell us, just in case I wanted a slice. I ordered one, and it was so good, my husband got one too. I agree with other reviewers that Mad Pizza isn’t cheap, but they’re generous with their coupons and regularly have discounts, like a happy hour deal, or $ 10 pizza Mondays. The crust is always excellent, and the variety of sauces and toppings is fantastic. Thanks for being in Lake City, Mad Pizza!

I wasn’t overly fond of Mad Pizza until I build my own with basil pesto, fresh pineapple, olives, and crushed garlic. It was so amazing I ordered it twice in three days! The pizza is pricey but worth it especially if you don’t mind splurging on a pizza every once and a while for movie night or girls night in ;)

Do you like gourmet pizza? Are you willing to pay an arm and a leg to get it? This is your joint. We have ordered in from here with rousing success; the pizza is REALLY good. It will also cause your bank account to be crippled, considering that it’s pizza. The Prozac Pie is good good good. The barbeque chicken pizza was better(in my opinion; the boy likes MEAT). I have a feeling that anything you order from here would be really good. Just hand them your wallet at the door.

I checked the website menu, called, and ordered from a newly-hired but very sweet employee of Mad Pizza. It took her a while to get everything figured out, but once it was done she told me I’d get my pizza in about an hour. «Well,» I thought, «I guess I can wait that long if the pizza’s as good as everyone says it is. Besides, they did a half-and-half for no extra charge, so…» To my surprise, the delivery guy was at my door forty minutes later. Sweet! Oh… wait…not so sweet: wrong order. Someone else’s order. And to top it off, the delivery guy didn’t even have the receipt for our order; he admitted he didn’t even know why someone would give him this address. He said he’d deliver his pizza to its rightful owner and figure out where mine was. Twenty minutes later I get a call: «I’m on my way with your pizza. Do you want a sixpack of soda?» Me: «Uh…we have soda already…» «We have root beer!» What? «Um…kay. That’s fine.» Admittedly, I was tired and cranky, so I didn’t want to argue the point… and admittedly, we still got our pizza and breadsticks in the quoted amount of time(one hour)…and admittedly, it was all pretty good. So this place gets: –One star for good food; –One star for friendliness; and –One star for still delivering my pizza after a nameless employee screwed things up. Making up for the frustration would have gotten them a fourth star(hell, offer me a small discount on my next order so I want to come *back* to Mad Pizza) and not having this frustration in the first place would have gotten them a fifth star. As it stands, I’ll still eat at Mad Pizza… but I’ll get take-out next time.

This is the best«normal» Pizza I have found in Seattle. I have tried a bunch of the trendy pizza joints and none have anything on Mad in my opinion. Great to grab a pie with some friends or a few slices to go. They have a pretty good drink selection, including my fav– blue moon beer. Try the Prozac. That is a good first pizza to try from them. After that, get more creative with some of the more exotic/unusual toppings. The pesto based are supa-good.

When I moved to Lake City there was a Mad Pizza flyer in my rental folder with a menu that blew my mind. so i ordered a standard pepperoni to try the joint out, with a side of garlic pesto breadsticks. The pizza was amazing! Fresh cheese, tasty dough, and good quality toppings. The breadsticks were fantastic too! Since then, I’ve ordered from the place a few more times trying the BBQ chicken pizza with red peppers and feta cheese, and other wild topping combos. The pizza is usually hit or miss, I’ve had a few average pizzas here and there. Overall it’s a good pie to try, with ok prices, fast and friendly delivery, and crazy pizza varieties.

Mad Pizza has some of the most unusual ingredients to get put on a pizza. Black Bean sauce, BBQ chicken, Feta Cheese all kinds of gourmet stuff. They also sell pizza by the slice, which makes it suitable for dining alone and not feeling like a complete pig for ordering up even a small pizza. I haven’t had a slice here that I didn’t like. The Mad Pizza in Lake City is pretty nice, they’ve got a plasma TV in the back area of the restaurant along with a sound system that isn’t too bad, once I saw a bunch of people who had gathered together to watch some episode of Dr. Who. I went in and also saw Rocky playing one morning. The main, big, drawback for Mad Pizza in my opinion is the price for whole pies. Considering there is a take and bake pizza place where you can get a(raw) pizza for about ½ to 1⁄3 the price of a pizza at Mad Pizza… so it kinda chaps my hide to shell out more than that. However, I’m totally alright with going in for the 2 slice + drink lunch special that they’ll also sometimes let you have around dinner time for those times I’m feeling so lazy I can’t even bake a pizza and in need of fast food that isn’t a burger. I struggled with weather to rate this 3 stars or 4 stars… I’d really like to give it 3.5 stars, mainly because of the price.

Yum! This is my favorite pizza in Seattle. I used to live on First Hill for years, and would order delivery from Mad Pizza weekly. Now I live in Woodinville, and the closest one is on Lake City Way. So every once in a while, when I’m craving it, I will drive up Lake City Way via Bothell to pick up the object of my affection. No, the pizza, you with the Dirty mind! The crust is just right, the sauce is garlicy and tasty, and the toppings are to die for. Try the Rastaman: Jamacian jerk chicken, yellow bell peppers, fresh roma tomatoes and a pesto(as opposed to red-sauce) base. Okay, my mouth is watering. I usually get a half Rastaman, and half pepperoni, black olive and mushroom pizza. The pizzas are HUGE by the way. It’s also a great place to go in for just a slice. Oh, one final thing. My favorite pizza ever at Mad Pizza. Stroke of genius! The Chev: Garlic olive oil base, mozzarella and goat cheeses, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts and roasted garlic cloves. It’ll be orgasmic and you’ll get the unique opportunity to smell like it for days!

This place is a decent quick lunch or night snack. They sell by the slice, and they have a decent breadstick.

Best pizza up here. Very good salads too. The staff is cute and spunky, especially the short, smiley girl. She was my son’s favorite(he’s a year old).

I’ll always pay more for totally unique and yummy toppings like Mad Pizza offers.(And you will pay a little more) Things like goat and fontina cheeses, cashews, zucchini, chorizo and yellow peppers. You can stop in and get a slice, but why stop there? I always make my own to order(which gets pricey because I don’t know when to stop) and get it delivered.

Pretty good, a bit overpriced. I find I like their specialty pizzas(like one without tomato sauce, that had thin slices of potato and bacon), but I do not like their basic(cheese, or pepperoni) slices. Something in the tomoato sauce that is just overspiced in a weird sweet way. I truly wish they would get garlic powder for those of us who like it. I always ask, they never do. Overall, fine, but I am a NY pizza snob, sooooo…

Mad Pizza should be put in a mental hospital for the things it does to an innocent pie. Mandarin oranges and cashews? Jamaican Jerk Chicken and yellow peppers? What will they subject us to next? Something just as tasty, I hope. Try the Sybil’s Breakdown. You’ve never tasted anything like it! Run, don’t walk, to the nearest Mad Pizza… what are you waiting for?
