Saw an advertisement for a show there and while riding the bus back down to the ferry the bus stopped right across the street… Ok, I have time — let’s check this out. Glad that I did. It shares space with Gamma Games — a nice, well stocked, roomy game store with great snack bar and friendly staff. Ltd. had some great pieces on the wall — ah to win the lottery. Things are nicely displayed with lots of room and light to really enjoy seeing some great«geek» art. Also, check out their print bins… wow! Great graphic design pieces at really affordable prices. Picked up two and found an affordable set of frames at a different bus stop.

Ltd is my favorite gallery ever. All of their shows have an awesome pop culture theme, such as Gnarly Nineties, Mint Condition — comic book themed, and my favorite recent show, a GOT-themed exhibit called Winter is Coming. The openings are lots of fun and usually include free themed cocktails with Jones soda — yum! I’ve bought a few different pieces here and they are all favs. A great independent gallery!

Awesome gallery and a welcome addition to Capitol Hill. In addition to the cutest puppy who hangs out in the gallery, there’s a sweet pinball machine. And new art openings once a month? Heck yeah! James tracked down an older print for me that he had up at a show a couple months prior. I’m horrible at remembering details, but he was able to pin point exactly what print it was I remembered and I walked out a happy man.

Hot damn this place is rad! Tiny little gallery across from Victrola on Pike which has regularly featured awesome nerdy art a la Star Wars, Nintendo, and comic book heroes. They offer a smattering of reproductions for sale as well as the originals featured on the walls; foursquare check-ins will get you 10% off your first purchase, which I assure you will not be your last The pieces are reasonably priced and the amazing artists deserve our support. I may go poor buying up all the prints I fall in love with. Someone come with me to keep tabs?

LTD is a really nice low brow gallery. The shows are crammed with art and there are usually several print options for new collectors or people looking to decorate with style. I’m looking forward to seeing this gallery grow and for g_d sake, so support this place. Seattle needs more and more places like that and I’d love to see the shows start attracting large crowds. This can’t happen without support of locals so let’s all help promote the gallery. Oh ya — also make sure to check out the Andrew Wilson art available at the gallery. It’s particularly nice.(^__^)

What a gem of a place! Frequent art shows that are totally relevant to my interests(video games, comic books, retro gaming, etc) AND there is a cute dog that stays in the shop with the owner of the gallery, James. I stopped in on a whim and left with a piece of art that I’m super happy with. Amazing, helpful service and a wonderful array of urban art to gander at. I’m already planning to buy another piece when I have a chance.

Was looking for one of the Star Wars prints that had gone out of production /circulation… Most of my other emails were met with indifference, or lack of knowledge. James on the other hand — knew exactly what I was talking about and went out of his way to help locate one for sale in short order. Couldn’t have been more helpful!

Free to stop in. Cute little gallery. Friendly staff. New exhibits every month or so. Great combination of local artists, pop culture references, and general geekery. We went to check out the Star Wars exhibit. It was towards the end of January and thus the end of the show, but I was still a little disappointed to see some of the installments already gone. However, that just means I need to stop in earlier for the next shows!

Popped in for the Star Ward exhibit. Nice space and some really fun art. Reasonably priced prints too for those of us who like awesome art but can’t break the bank!

Picked up a couple of prints here; James the owner is extremely cool and knowledgeable. Diverse selection with some local artists represented. Poster geeks must check this place out. If only I had more wall space…

Cool art, and great owner. Helped me pick the right piece for my kitchen and am so excited to pick it up next week.
