Wasted time trying to get an appointment here. Office staff is unprofessional doesn’t return calls.

The only reason QA Medical and Dr. Gromko receive four stars instead of 5 is that it is a bit of a drive across town for me. Otherwise the clinic is just great. I’m getting better doctoring here than I had for two years and Minor and James Clinic. I have never waited longer than 15 minutes and the time spent me and the questions asked have been important and appropriate. Three cheers for a woman MD still in her own practice and not sucked into the vortex of a large clinic or hospital system.

Yes, a one-​star review is extreme, but so was the experience I had here today. I arrived promptly for my appointment today as it was my first time there (I just moved to the Queen Anne area and thought this would be convenient). While the office was very easy to find, and the nurse and receptionist were adequately prompt and friendly, I had to wait a full 45 minutes to see Dr. Gromko before I wasn’t able to wait any longer. It wouldn’t have been so frustrating, except that I was sitting there in nothing but a hospital gown and was there for a very simple routine yearly physical that was supposed to take all of 45 minutes to begin with.
Adding insult to injury, I never received any follow-​up communication apologizing for the situation.
Needless to say, I did not reschedule the appointment, I will never go back again, nor would I recommend this doctor to anyone I know.
