I love shopping here. Great deals, fun atmosphere, goes towards a great cause, and awesome finds! Employees are great, too. I love that a $ 20 dress can go for only 50 cents if you’re there on the right day. :)

I don’t know almost 3 stars more like 3.5 stars but there are non profit so how can you complain? Biggest boss is the no return policy I got a CD that was totally garage. And I couldn’t return it. Unplayable and scratches. So you have to be sure on everything when you take it home. That said they have some great stuff for a thrift store. And it’s for a good cause.

i love this location. though RIP red light. downstairs is where i peruse the most. the media section is the most fun. last time i found the Matrix, Titanic, season 5&6 of sex and the city! as well as a huge range of records and cassettes. i love their book section and occasionally you can even find some wicked art pieces. the best part is knowing your money is going towards a great cause. staff doesn’t really acknowledge you much(or at all tbh). the place isn’t super crowded so you can take your time and feel at ease.

Scored some good deals here. I really like the color designated tags that tell you how much money off you’re getting and even without the discount tags the prices aren’t bad. The selection seemed decent — a good selection of clothes and outerwear, didn’t get to check out the downstairs where they have Music, DVDs, etc. but the same price discounts apply which is good. The staff are pretty friendly and there is a 10 item limit in the changing room which is far more than what I’m used to at other thrift stores. I didn’t get to check out the others in the area but this one left a good impression and could see that competition from the other places help keep the prices competitive. I don’t think they buy back any clothing but donations are accepted. They also give away free condoms and dog treats which is random but cool.

Dipped in here while walking down Broadway, it’s a great thrift shop. Downstairs is particularly compelling, with everything from records, video games, and movies to toys and dishes. I don’t think the prices are high at all, higher than Goodwill perhaps but the items are better curated. I can’t speak to the clothes, I only briefly looked as I’m a bigger girl and I always end up disappointed. Check out Lifelong if you’re in Capitol Hill.

I have shopped at the previous location for seven years. I understand change and embrace it. The new shop has a lot more inventory. However, the price point has risen so much. This will defiantly change their customer demographic. I have been in the new shop about six times. I rarely see anyone in there. I’ve have been there at different days and times. I will still go in, from time to time. Two points I’d like to make 1. lower those prices, remember who your previous customer base was. 2. STOP playing such depressing music! I understand we all have different tastes. UPBEAT music makes people happy, causing sales. They do offer a coupon in the Chinook Book Seattle. I highly recommend this book.
