The only thing I ever get here is the seafood phở but it is worth the 4 stars alone. You get a big Styrofoam bowl/cup full of rich, spicy broth, lots of noodles, prawns, squid, fishballs, and some squishy, fishy white things. Also the requisite lime slice, bean sprouts, fresh jalapenos, and a little cup with hoisun and siracha. Usually I have to go to some upscale Broadway phở place to get seafood and it’s usually half as good. Actually one time I got the fresh prawn spring rolls and they were kinda bland but the sauce was okay but screw them, just get the seafood phở.

Walking around the Market looking for some place to grab lunch while listening to the music playing for their centennial celebration I came across Lee’s. I noticed they had Banh Mi sandwiches. I thought score one for the gimpy wristed Mitz! I couldn’t have been more wrong. I should have known it wouldn’t be good when the people in front of me order egg rolls and they put them in the microwave to heat up but I went for it anyways. Lesson learned Banh Mi downtown outside of the ID is a BAD, BAD, VERYBAD idea. It was all bread, very little filling and the pork reminded me of BBQ pork from a Chinese restaurant minus the hot mustard. This gimpy right wristed girl was not happy. They have Phở but I think I’ll pass no need to come back to Lee’s Corner. At least the sandwich was only $ 2.50 I’ll give them an extra star for the price. By the way do you know how hard it is to type one handed? Let me tell you it is extremely hard; don’t ever get a gimpy wrist they aren’t fun.
