Dr. Kvidera has done both my hip replacements and both have been successful and easy to get over. Another orthopedist suggested ‘evening out’ my legs, since the left one is slightly longer, but Kvidera didn’t do it, which I believe was the correct decision. My body had been used to my leg lengths for 68 years, and I think any adjustments would not have worked — both massage therapists and physical therapists have discovered a genetic muscle twist in my abdomen which pulls my right leg up slightly. He was always on time, never said«wait until you are in more pain» and then I’ll do your hip. So I go into the surgery and out of the surgery in good shape!!!

I am a physician and went to Dr Kvidera for knee pain related to jogging. When he asked what I did for employment, I mentioned scientist(also true) because I wanted to see how he would treat me as a patient, not a colleague. He was excellent. He had a good bedside manner and was friendly, was very knowledgably, explained things well, was courteous, diagnosed my issue properly(my patella tendonitis had a different and incorrect diagnosis of chondromalacia from a «sports medicine» non-orthopedic physician elsewhere), and succinctly told me what the treatment should be(nonsurgical). A month later, my problem is resolved. I would highly recommend him to others. Also, in this day & age when patients with routine orthopedic problems are shuttled by their providers to orthopedic physicians for surgical issues only and ‘sports medicine” doctors who are essentially family physicians with a year of ‘sports medicine fellowship”(posing as orthopedists) for conditions not thought to be surgical, its nice to have the ability to see a bona fide orthopedic physician(Dr Kvidera) for any problem, however minor.

Just as an update, over a year later I am still recovering from my knee injury. I am in the home stretch finally. I found an amazing doctor who performed a great surgery, but I assume that if the injury had been properly diagnosed to begin with, the recovery would have been easier. The only upside to Dr. Kvidera’s misdiagnosis is that he did not perform my surgery.

This man was so condescending, he made me feel the whole time that I was wasting his time. I had gone in for severe knee pain, after consulting, MRA, etc he told me there was NOTHINGWRONG with my knee. A year later, I discoverd after going to Dr. McAdam, I found out my cartledge was completely gone, and that I needed surgery. After all of the time and money that I wasted on Dr Kvidra’s wrong diagnosis, I’d recommend no one go to this guy.

Hopefully I won’t have to return to this orthopedic surgeon but one never knows. Visited upon referral, professional service and care was received. Busy office with helpful staff. Needed to obtain records which was a hassle free event. Active doc in this field. A+
