Made to order stir fry was fresh and spicy(added the Fire Sauce). Got the«Classic»(aka chicken teriyaki stir fry w/rice). Good value.

Kigo is totally serviceable food that makes for a decent lunch. They make vaguely pan-Asian food where you pick your carb, your protein, your veggies and sauce and they cook it all together. It tastes alright(my personal preference is to get the coconut curry with pork and extra hot sauce, then adding even more after they give it to me), and it comes out fairly quickly. Tables can be hard to come by at lunch, and the food assembly line can slow down too. They offer online ordering via web or app, and I’ve used it before — it works well for ordering food before you leave the office for pickup but don’t expect to beat a big lunch line with it. Prices are average, in that it’s not exactly cheap but isn’t what I would call expensive either. No one is expecting a pretty setting when coming here, but it is certainly clean. All in all, I wouldn’t ever veto getting lunch here, but Kigo rarely comes to mind when independently deciding what I want to eat today.

Pretty solid food. Had it delivered through my office through Peach, and I was impressed enough that I’ll definitely be back. There was a good mix of chicken and rice and vegetables, and the peanut sauce was yummy. Definitely worth a visit.

This place is a very good stir fry! Some of the sauces are a little on the sweeter side but you can make up for that with the fire sauce that you can later add in. My wife and I eat here at least twice a week and have never been disappointed with a meal.

I’ve been here a few times. It’s kind of like Chipotle for stirfry. It’s pretty good for quick eats, but the sauce can make the rice too wet for my taste. Despite this, it’s still very satisfying!

Fast delivery of food from order to receipt, which is a rarity when searching for lunch in South Lake Union. Even so, there is not enough room in their building for the multitudes in line to order and waiting to receive food. Be prepared to get intimate with your neighbors. The food itself is average. The vegetable tend to look dried out but taste okay once they are cooked up. The sauces lean toward the weak side flavor-wise, especially because they don’t use enough to properly coat the food in the wok. At about $ 10 a dish, the portions are very healthy sized so the value is there. I am a regular, 2 – 3 times a week, mostly because its close to work, fast, and mostly healthy.

I am kind of a regular here. Whenever I crave for spicy asian food, I head to this place although its a good 15 minutes walk from my office — The food has good flavor. It’s very close to Indo-chinese food you get in India. Being a vegetarian, I have choice of tofu and edamame beans. I really like edamame beans and order noodles with peanut hoisin sauce and its delicious, served hot and fresh — You can order online and quickly pickup. No waits Taking one star off because — Portions are small and I am still little bit hungry afterwards

Wandered in here and ordered a bowl with rice, veggies, and chicken with the Pineapple Tamarind sauce. I asked if it was spicy and was told no. It is a little spicy though. Not spicy spicy, but has a little kick.(Though, I should mention here that I’m a lite weight when it comes to spicy food) Not bad for a quick, late dinner.

Nice, quick, and pleases my children. I felt the sauce was a bit much, but next time, I’ll ask for less of it.

A spin off of Chipotle except with less flavorful food. The yakisoba noodles tasted doughy and the tablespoon of spiced pork in my mountain of vegetables left me wanting the taste of meat. Oh but that’s an extra $ 2 for another tablespoon? No thanks. First and last time here.

I’m quite a fan of Kigo Kitchen actually. Despite the long line that you see during weekday lunches due to its location being in middle of SLU/Amazon Campus, the line actually moves quite fast. You customize your pick of rice/soba noodles/or carbless(e.g. salad), sauce(the peanut hoisin sauce is actually quite good!), vegetable selection, meat/tofu/meatless, and go pay while their stir fry your order. The flavor is actually quite good, and I don’t think you can go wrong with whatever combo you end up mixing(as long as you don’t go way overboard with the level of spiciness). Prices and portion are also good, especially for SLU area, where it’s hard to find lunch under $ 10 these days. P.S: I tried their hottest sauce + special sauce before. don’t do it! It was way too spicy that I had to split them into 3 portions over 2 days to eat!)

Order your base, protein and sauce like you would at a Mongolian grill except it’s stir fried. Fast, inexpensive and tastes great. i spoke with a manager regarding catering, and they don’t offer it. Kigo is small and the Amazonians attack during the weekday lunch so I’d suggest coming by after the typical lunch hour or for an early dinner. There’s no parking for this building that’s free but there are paid lots nearby. Food: 3 Service: 4 Ambiance: 4 Parking: 2

Interesting concept — sort of like a mongolian grill, except that they fill your bowl and they stir-fry it in a wok. Long line, but it goes fast. Ingredients were good and the service friendly. Individually, everything seemed like it should have resulted in something great. However, once combined, there just wasn’t enough flavor. Has a lot of potential, but it’s not there.

Stopped in for the first time recently and, sorry to say, I was left pretty disappointed. The veggies were fresh and of good quality and, because they were quickly stir-fried, remained very crisp. I appreciated that they did not charge extra for brown rice(as so many places are want to do). And, it was a good-size serving. But, the meal was pretty flavorless. I ordered the coconut curry sauce, which is supposed to be two-star(the hottest of their base offerings), but I tasted nothing in terms of spice and nothing in terms of heat. It was so bland, I was left wondering if they’d forgotten to put the sauce in altogether. I was glad I’d opted for tofu instead of chicken or shrimp as my ‘protein,’ as this saved me money on what was an overall unsatisfying meal. I work close to here, had walked past many times, and had been wanting to give them a try. So, I’m glad I finally did. Unfortunately, I think the first time was also the last.

Pretty average stir fry mix. The portions are not great for the price and the lines are crazy. You can make this at home yourself for a lot cheaper and easier. Honestly not worth the hassle.

Solid lunch spot, with ok stir fries. 3 stars because the sauces/taste are just ok and not super flavorful, but the portion sizes are pretty generous. Solid OK food and pretty fast service. Beware: lines get pretty long!

This was delicious! I ordered the coconut curry with kigo mix veggies with tofu and brown rice. Super good. But I wish there was more sauce. If you ask for extra sauce they will give it to you by the way. Also when they ask for your name, have fun! I said my name was«Thunderdome» so when my order was done, they called Thunderdome. :) This was a huge whooping serving so it’s a really good deal for under $ 10 – especially in lake Union area. Good deal, good food!!!

All the bowls are custom made they way you like, add in what you want, pass on what you don’t. I like the Kigo-Yaki sauce, its a little sweet, and goes good with the noodles. But play around with the sauces and combinations, you might find that perfect bowl. Service is friendly, and your food is up quick. Great place for a quick fix, its pretty filling too!

Came here to try the business on their free bowl day. Might as well, right? Their food was very tasty, employees friendly, food came out very fast, and high quality products in my opinion. They had quite the line throughout the day so they must have a pretty good fan base. The concept is perfect for the SLU lunch crowd and apparently they are one of the few quick restaurants that stay open for dinner. For my bowl I selected the Kigo Kick which came with the Asian salad base, steak, and citrus chile sauce. The steak was well seasoned, juicy, and very good. The veggies were fresh and the sauce was spicy! I found the bowl to be delicious and healthy. I would get this for a quick lunch option if I were in the area.

In a twist of fate, Mongolian Grill has become a take out place? That might be harsh; but the experience is good and I suspect consistent. So you are looking for food, and you are in south lake union… and it’s about 11:30… well, there’s a line… but luckily, it moves fast… because us Amazonians are all up in this place’s business. They personalize the meal for you, you walk down the line and ask for various items, Meat or tofu first… because. I don’t know, it seems right. then sauces. I don’t recall how many, but I remember my manager mixing and matching flavors… obviously she was an expert… I’m the noob. along the way, they ask if you want veggies, and of course, noodles or rice? I came here for lunch, and I walked away with food. it’s a great concept, I mean it was a school project from the east coast, that became a free standing location(I think this is the first). I think if they refine the flavors, improve the marinades, they might have a great concept. at the moment. it’s a little tempered in the flavors. lacking the boldness I expect, with all the names of the sauces. Maybe a little bit more pepper and salt?
