So I’ve been going to different Salons & I found this place using Groupon. It was a great deal, $ 49 for $ 110 dollars worth of services. I went in for a full foil & a cut, & the only difference I had to pay was 3 dollars :)
I absolutely LOVE the haircut Clarize gave me, while on the other hand the color is not as blonde as I wanted it to be. Hopefully, like she said the toner will lighten up in about 4 weeks. As of right now, it doesn’t even look like I had a full foil at all, which is the only reason this place is not a 5 !

After a giving it a few days to make sure, I’ve decided I like the highlight and cut job that Chelsea did for me here. It was a frightfully slow day at the salon when I went (presumably due to the beautiful grilling weather outside), so I was a little fearful about the results. However, I’ve gotten (a)exactly what I asked for (a subtle dye job I can get away with at work) plus (b)a little added something, that I think can only happen when you tell the stylish «whatever you think is best,» on smaller points of detail. Plus, as a first-​time customer, I got a 50% off deal, cutting the price to Very Reasonable. I plan on going back, next time I need something done.

This is a trendy, upbeat and friendly local salon. The staff is very knowledgeable in their fields and well worth my hour ferry ride over.
I will follow Angie to any salon she goes to, but am happy she has found a home here. I trust no one else but Angie to do my color as she has been doing it since 2002. She always has great suggestions and my color always turns out fabulous!
They have a nice waiting area, the shampoo bowls are the most comfortable around, and it has a great atmosphere to it. Nice beverage area and great items to read.
I love the hip, local neighborhood vibe to this spot. The prices are great for the fantastic work they do.

I usually go to a different place every time, but this new salon is now the only place I will let cut my hair. Tracy is a great stylist and I highly recommend her. Great experience in all aspects

About five years ago I was in desperate need of a hair cut. I drove around West Seattle on my day off going into all the places that had signs saying «walk ins welcome» but not one of them was welcoming me. I decided to head down to Supercuts (I was desperate remember) when I saw Friends they too had a sign that said «walk ins welcome» so I pulled over and went in.
I’m so glad I did they weren’t busy and I was able to sit right down. I had Susie cut my hair that day and two days later I went back and had her add highlights. I’ve been going to Friends for over five years now having Susie cut and color my hair. She does an amazing job so good everyone always asks me where I get it done because they want their’s to look like mine too. I trust Susie so much that in Sept when I cut off 10″ plus to donate to the Locks of Love I let her do what ever she wanted to my hair and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it, which reminds me I need a trim.
The Salon is a nice cozy little place on California Ave in West Seattle. They use excellent coloring products because it takes FOREVER for my color to fade unless I put red in it, otherwise it stays bright and shiny until my roots need done. Everyone is very friendly and the clientele is a nice mixed crowed. You never know if you’ll see the little old lady getting her hair done or someone getting an up-​do they do it all there.
