Great coffee, but almost no seating(except outside). If you are looking for a comfy spot to sit and work while enjoying some coffee or a bite to eat, there are places with more comfy seating nearby.

My dog and I stop by Hotwire almost every morning on our daily walk. This is our favorite coffee shop in West Seattle. Yes, this is my dog’s favorite coffee shop :) The baristas are really friendly, I always get great service and they serve delicious drinks! I specifically want to give a shout out to Nicole and Skaty, they really go out of their way to give great service. They remember my name, my drink, AND they are really nice to my dog. I highly recommend!

I had a Peeps latte! Peeps latte! Haha! This place is legit, and it’s definitely worth your coffee dollar. Hotwire has a great selection of beverages for good prices. They can do the classics, but they also have their cool twists on favorites(Nutella plus a Peep= SOAWESOME). I really appreciated how my sweet drink wasn’t overly sweet. The service was quick and friendly. I was promptly greeted, and my drink promptly appeared. Yay! The place is really cool, but it is small, which isn’t bad, but the only reason I can’t give 5 stars(I’d give 4.5 if I could) is that the flow is difficult with people coming in, waiting for drinks, and people leaving. Since it’s small, there isn’t a good place to stand to wait for your drink. This place is definitely worth a try if you’re in the area, and I know I’ll be back soon!

I wish I knew the barista’s name who was working last night(Thursday 1÷28÷16) so the owner of this place would know just how amazing she is! She is the perfect combination of sweet, smart quirky and pro. I decided to try a special drink they had that had dark chocolate… she not only customized it to make it less sweet and more chocolate, but suggest putting in fresh orange zest(yes, a real orange!)… Wow, so amazing. This is the very reason I do not go to Starbucks. THIS is what real cafes are all about.

My signature order is a cortado, which is 2 shots and 3 oz. milk. I asked the barista if she knew what it was, and she was like«Uh…yeah…» but then I got served a doppio with an inch of sugar in the cup and didn’t realize until I drove away. If you’re going to be arrogant, be right!

This is a great neighborhood coffee joint. They remember your name and your drink and are fun to chat with. Coffee is good too and my kids love the smoothies. I dig Hotwire.

Unfortunately, Hotwire is not the place to go for coffee anymore. The baristas have mostly changed and a certain Katy Perry look-a-like has spoiled the friendly appeal of this little shop. No smiles, thank you or even a greeting from her, who happened to be there the last few times I’ve been in. Like seriously, are you too hip, singing along to loud 90s pop music, to even greet customers? One of the recent times I was in and ordered my usual soy latte, the barista who made my order obviously didn’t hear my order correctly and made it with dairy. When I asked her if that was mine, as I had requested soy, she rolled her eyes at me as if it were my fault for not requesting the milk I wanted in the first place. Sorry, not sorry, Hotwire, that you are too snooty for your own good. I have found better coffee and service at Red Cup.

Went here this week cute small spot the tea looked awesome I should have had that instead of the mocha late it was good but just kinda average. Would have been for a nicer visit outside of the rude barista won’t name her but starts with an N the reason I say this is because her whole vibe is one of rude not friendly I overheard her being snarky to her co worker. I was thinking how lucky she was to have that job, if shes not happy to be there I’ll take it. Rude and appearing lazy with an ugly attitude. oh well there are other shops around

I love the coffee here! They always have creative new drinks to try for each season. At Easter time, the specialty drinks each had a Peep floating in it, which my six year old son loved. Come in and give it a try!

First time here today. I got the Mexican mocha which was pretty good. Couldn’t really taste any coffee in it which was a bummer. I like to be able to taste the coffee in it rather than just steamed milk and some flavoring. Usually I get Americanos so I’m used to strong coffee. Not too bad otherwise.

My favorite place for coffee in the morning, and you can text your order and have it waiting when you arrive! Seriously, the baristas here know their stuff – they use bottomless portafilters, which require a lot of technique in order to draw an even shot, but the result is a silky, luxurious mouthfeel. Small shop, but very friendly, and great selection of pastries snacks.

The espresso is terrific and the baristas are always very nice. Occasionally get a Mexican Mocha for a special treat. Love the courtyard when I want to just chill.

I enjoy coffee shops that create seasonal drinks all year round. This place had an array of creative flavored lattes. Lavender salted caramel, raspberry caramel, macadamia white chocolate and more. The space is nice and small with a good patio. They had delicious breakfast sandwiches and vegan donuts. They had a lot more options that looked delightful but we didn’t try them. We went back a couple times for the nice smooth caffeine.

If the subtle sweetness and orange appeal of their«Honey, Vanilla & Orange Latte»(try it iced with hemp milk = hello mama!) isn’t reason enough for me to come back for a second cup then the parking lot summer movie series reels me in. Friendly service, GF/vegan Flying Apron goodies, charming patio seating and free internet access(with light therapy!). Check out the West Seattle Outdoor Movies schedule here: .

I wish there were 4.5 stars to give…4 seems low for how great their Mexican Mochas are! Staff here is phenomenal and they will remember you if you come back as frequently as I do. They offer a frequent flyer punch card so you can actually get a free drink in a reasonable amount of time. I have tried a few pastries here but was not a fan of what I tried. I am a full fat pastry lover however so perhaps those that like a lighter version would be happy. They do look pretty. The only downside is that it’s tiny. Really tiny. Not a lot of room if you want to sit but I never want to stay… just take my full fat Mexican mocha with cayenne and hit the road. You can text them your order and it will be ready when you arrive! Boom. West Seattle rocks anyway but this is my favorite coffee by far.

I enjoyed this offbeat-ish, pleasant, cool and rather invitingly warm café with an offset, yet welcoming, entrance. It’s a really tasteful, tiny space, I thought. And awesome being able to LQQK straight at green vine stuff out the front door.(read: .foilage). The pleasantly friendly gals up front mentioned you can get a spicy or sweet chai — sweet, please, tyvm. Maybe I’ll try dirty or coffee next time. I perched up on the bar stool next to the side and watched the café action for a bit of eye candy & people watching. If anything, I wish the bar counter table was slightly extended(less hunch over for tall people). Cool beans!

Attention starving college students and anybody else on the cheap for sugary starches. In the early AM they have a large spread of day old pastries. Seems they disappear quickly.
