Cake tasting is one of the most fun parts of planning your wedding. My husband and I went to several cake vendors in the Seattle area, and while many were good, no one even came close to Carla. We met with Carla on a weekend and pre-​arranged which cakes we wanted to try. We explained what we wanted for our dream cake and showed her a photo of the details we wanted, and to our surprise Carla sketched a beautiful and perfect cake that exactly matched what we had in mind. We later requested to try an additional two flavors and Carla was nice enough to arrange that for us. We ended up going with the pink champagne cake with raspberry mouse filling; and the citrus grove cake– a lime cake with blood orange meringue filling. Both flavors were AMAZING. I like to bake, and the most important thing for me is that cakes be deliciously moist. Carla’s cake were just that.
Carla was wonderful to work with. She is an incredible professional who created a comprehensive contract we could sign online. It was really easy to communicate with her. When the wedding grew closer and we realized we would have 100 guests as opposed to 150, Carla adjusted our cake dimensions and the price accordingly without any trouble at all. Carla delivered our cake and arranged the fresh flowers the florist had left on the cake artfully while we were at the church. Our cake was gorgeous and tasted amazing. It was a perfect way to end our delicious meal. My mom was still talking about how delicious her slice of cake was a full two weeks after the wedding. I was so happy I got to bring back some leftovers so my husband and I could eat them at home the next day.
Carla was incredible and our wedding cake was perfect. I highly recommend that you consider Carla if you’re in the market for a beautiful and delicious wedding cake that you’ll remember for a lifetime.

We reached out to Carla after seeing her exceptional reviews and awards. She was flexible and excelled logistically when it came time to arrange a meet up so we could try out her delicious baked goods. Throughout our planning process she responded in a timely manner with quotes and a sketch of our cake. She was patient as we figured out whether or not to add different flavors or cupcakes. On the big day, our cake arrived on time and looked beautiful. Our top layer was even vegan and gluten-​free for guests with dietary restrictions. The flavor of her cakes is not that of a typical over sugary, dense, spongy wedding cake — this cake is delicious, moist, and rich in flavor. We are looking forward to our one year anniversary when Carla will make us a small cake to enjoy. I’m sure the first bite will quickly transport us back to our magical day.

Carla did our cake for our wedding. Really love her work — got so many compliments from our friends and really loved the way it looked. We even had friends at the wedding who were lactose intolerant eat it anyways (too good to resist)… and tell us later that it was totally worth it anyways, so there you have it.
