Had an amazing wig style with Darla today. She is both very caring and very talented! It is great to have a fashionable hair style while going through chemo! So thankful for all Darla has done for me!

I had a consultation today with Darla and was completely impressed. Darla is professional, creative, and client focused; she listened to my wants and needs and tried on several different styles with suggestions beyond what I even knew was available or possible. One of the items I selected wasn’t in stock so she placed an order for me that I expected to pay for with my other items but she told me to wait — that once it came in she wanted to make sure I liked it after having a chance to try it on before I paid for it. That consideration alone would have cemented my loyalty, but I was also really pleased with her suggestions, advice, and the products I left with today.
I’ve bought hair pieces in the past due to thinning hair from a thyroid disorder. Once it was diagnosed and my hair filled out again I found myself missing the ease and whimsy that extensions and partial pieces had afforded me. After reading Darla’s reviews here, I booked an appointment online via her website (why doesn’t every business offer that? So convenient.) The hour went by fast I was having such a good time trying things on and visiting with Darla and Lynn. I wore my purchase right out the door and was complimented on my hair several times throughout the day. Maybe these won’t just be for going out after all. You can’t beat going from windblown, limp hair to looking completely coiffed in under a minute.

We made an appointment for a wig consultation with Darla. She was instantly comforting to my friend upon our arrival.
I agree with the other review that Darla does not try to up-​sell or try to get you to buy products that you don’t need.
We finally decided on a style, however my friend wanted one closer to her natural hair color– which Darla ordered.
We went back two days later to have Darla shave my friend’s remaining hair and to have her new wig fitted.
Darla was so caring and kind through it all. Words cannot describe my sincere appreciation for Darla and Hair Options.

Such a nice lady and a truly ethical person, she doesn’t charge for just trying out wigs like many other places do.

My hair started thinning in my late 30’s – saw every doctor possible to no avail. I tried hair integration for a while and while vey good it just wasn’t in me to do frequent tightenings, etc. then I just said «fudge-​it» and cut my hair really short and went all grey. I felt there were bigger issues in my life and the world than my exposed scalp… but try as I might I never felt complete/​whole with my resemblance to a failed Chia Pet.
My sister got me in touch with a wig salon in Burien that had helped a friend with thinning hair so I tried it out and got a topper peice that was incredible. After almost two years I needed a new one.
I live near Phiinney Ridge and saw Hair Options and called for an appointment. Darla sounded so nice on the phone and in person even better! She showed me some other topper pieces but I ended up ordering the same piece. She had to order my color but took my current piece and did a little cutting and curling and it looks great. Now topper pieces (that’s what I call them) are smaller than a wig and clip into your own hair. They blend in with what you have on the sides and back and voila-​no one is staring at your scalp when you’re in conversation. They are light weight and you honestly don’t feel like you’re wearing anything on your head. Darla has different styles of these and she never rushes you
I asked her if we could try some wigs when I wanted to wear something totally different. She was happy to do so and suggested one she thought I would love and boy was she right. It was blonde with darker rooting and had a micro-​fiber front (?) that makes it look like hair growing right out your scalp. It was awesome. When I wore it for my roommates they were amazed at how natural it looked
Bottom line if you are someone with hair issues of any kind go see Darla. Even if all you want is a new look with one of her great wigs go see Darla. You won’t be disappointed!

I had a wonderful experience here. I am a trans woman who was terribly uncomfortable the first time I made an appointment. But when I showed up Darla was so wonderful and made me feel welcomed.
I came back a second time because I wanted some variety and something a little longer. She found me something that is amazing, spent time showing me how to use bobby pins, was wonderful helping keep my small kids entertained when they got a little bored. She is an awesome person and has a great little shop with high quality wigs.
I cannot recommend this place enough.

Darla is great. My 11 year old daughter has alopecia and has lost all of her hair. She has been wearing a head scarf for about a year and was ready to try a wig. I did not know what to expect or how my daughter would react. Darla talked to her and then picked out one for her to try on — her face just lit up!!! She loves it ! Go see Darla if you need help finding a wig or scarves and hats due to hair loss. She is a great source of knowledge, professional and kind. When I first walked into the shop I did not know what to expect. I was reeling from a new diagnosis and my quickly changing appearance. I needed help and I was overwelmed. Darla greeted me with a smile, a cup of water, some Kleenex and space to pull myself together. By the end of my visit I had 2 cool scarves and a great hat. When I went back a few weeks later for help with wigs, Darla helped me find what was right for me. Her shop is easy to find and has plenty of free parking. I could not recommend her more.

I received really good personal service from Darla. My hair has been thinning and I wanted a wig for special occasions. It also helps keep my hair healthier as I don’t style it as much with spray, gels, heat, etc that can harm my hair. I got a wig that I get alot of compliments on and no one knows unless I tell them.
