We lived here for a year in 2014 and it was a great experience. The building is located in a great spot in Interbay/LQA. Despite the proximity to 15th Ave, we could barely hear traffic. Gered, the property manager, was flexible and very easy to work with. He responded quickly to maintenance requests via text and email and kept us informed via posted notices of anything going on in the building. He was accommodating with moving in and out times as well. We moved into a clean apartment and when we moved out the cleaning fees deducted from our deposit were fair, and the deposit was returned promptly. This was a great experience, I wish all rental interactions went as easily as they did at Gilman Terrace.

Lived here for two years, never had a problem, they switch managers a while back, but didn’t notice anything. Nice place.

I lived in apartment #214 for 11 months. The maintenance and onsite management was awesome. They are easy to get in touch with, easy to talk to and respond quickly with any issues you may have with your unit. If you are dead set on living in Seattle, this is a great location and affordable in comparison. It does not compare to the same amount you could be spending in the ‘burbs. There are no amenities such as workout room or vending machines or any of that. It was safe and I never had any security issues especially cool considering I had a ground unit with a back door slider. The view from the roof is a selling point and had me excited although I never went up there again after I actually moved in. I heard about«community» BBQ’s with other tenants but never heard of anything happening. Also, there are penthouses on the roof so I was never sure if I were actually«allowed» to go kick it up there. PROS: Great staff, good communication, good location, secure parking CONS: Plain, old, boring and kind of buried depending on where you are trying to go
