I’m a brand new Todd fan. I’ve been going to Ten Pachi in the U. District for 3 years — fast, ok cuts. But Todd is an artiste — I have been complimented many times for the precision, yet casual-​ness of my cut. He also cuts my wife’s rather unruly hair — and she her look has completely transformed with his skillful color and cut. Not only does he do highlights but he also puts in undertones for a completely natural, beautiful combination of silver and light brown.

Todd is great! I have been getting my hair cut by him for 12 years. He takes his time, is very skilled (as far as I can tell) and is very detail oriented. He gives his honest opinion about what you can or cannot do with your hair. He talks straight (not too much) and has a dry sense of humor. I’ll keep going.

I am a longtime patron of Gene Juarez, but getting tired of their high prices. My husband has been getting his hair cut by Todd for years, so i decided to try him out. I had my hair colored by Todd and it turned out so beautifully at half the price of GJ. He spent a lot of time getting it just right and even gave me free product samples as I left. I will be back to see Todd — my hair has not looked this good in years — brilliant color, shiny, bouncy and smooth!

I love Todd! He knows exactly what he’s doing, he’s reasonably priced, he will tell you if something won’t work and he doesn’t talk endlessly while cutting your hair. I have been going to him for about 4 years and have told him he is never allowed to retire.

I’ve been going to Todd at Folio for years (since before I had gray hair). I get a consistently good haircut, and avoid any of the hubub of the big chains. Not cheap, but very reasonable when you look at quality. I’ve continued to make the drive to Wallingford even since moving to West Seattle 5 years ago.

I’ve never had a bad haircut here. Todd is that perfect blend of experience but still knowing the trends. He’s one of those hair stylists that will give you an honest opinion on whether a look will work for you and will really listen to what you want. It’s $ 40 for a woman’s haircut — for the same price you could pretty much spend on someone straight out of school at Gene Juarez. Easy to access on 45th in Wallingford, right next to the Latona/​Thackery stop on route 44.
