I really love this Kraut. I had previously discovered it at Farmer’s markets and made it to the actual facility for a potluck once upon a time ago. I recently learned that they had classes and came for both fermentation 101 and the brine class. Who knew that making sauerkraut was so easy. I really enjoy hands on classes and that is definitely the case here. Both classes came with lots of tasty samples and some product to take home as well. In the brine class we even had the opportunity to make some delicious drink concoctions. I can’t decide if I’ll be back for the fermentation 201, but highly recommend these to anyone who is interested. Most of the people I have shared my homemade creations with claim that this is some of the best sauerkraut they have ever eaten. Everyone is very friendly.

There’s a not-too-subtle difference between«fermented» — as these products are meant to be — and«rotten.» Which these products are. Terrible.

Just heard about Friefly Kitchens and haven’t had kraut in awhile, I am impressed! Got mine at Wholefoods Roosevelt. Next time I think I’ll try the carrots!

Love the high-quality lacto-fermented krauts. You can find their products at Whole Foods, Central Co-op, the UD Farmer’s Market, and probably lots more places.
