Loving the brand new play equipment (just unveiled October 2010)! Very toddler/​pre-​school friendly. Features a merry-​go-​round, play structure designed with a Ferry Boat theme, a sand pit/​box, a teeter-​totter, giant rope climbing structure, and swing set. Big grassy area for soccer games. Second set of play structures down just a short walk south — for older kids. A baseball diamond, restrooms too. Parking is tough (street only), and gets good afternoon light (faces west).

Love this park. It sits right behind an elementary school which got shut down a few years back due to budget cuts.
It’s got some great benches to just sit & read a good book in the sun. There’s always kids playing basket ball on the basket ball court (this may actually belong to the school but since the school is shut down…)
There are two playground areas & a baseball diamond where lots of teams play.
The two slides are super fun, so is the merry-​go-​round and the swings.
The equipment all seems relatively new. I think there might even be a bathroom here although I’ve never used it.
