Cute shop! If you love vintage everything, this is a great starting point. Whether you want clothes, jewelry, furniture or even toys, they’ve got a great selection here. The owner of the store was very friendly and helpful but the only reason I didn’t stick around was because I noticed a lot of steep prices. I shop vintage a lot and after 10 mins in here I was quick to realize that I didn’t bring enough cashola.

Amazing selection of antique furniture. In fact, it’s perhaps the most frontrunner candidate for an antique store, if ever there was one. Top-notch, quality pieces that appear to be untainted by time. Everything is in excellent shape. The store is not cluttered with junk and yard sale scraps. No, the store is filled only with the best. Also, it’s so well-kept and clean. Not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere. I imagine it’s a chore having to keep everything spic and span. I would definitely come here if I were actually in the market to find some timeless pieces of furniture or houseware.

I drove there expecting to find gently used *JEANS*, with additional vintage and/or used clothes, and a few antiques on the side. My mistake, judging a store by its name… I’d call the place an antique store, first and foremost, with a decent collection of vintage clothing and accessories all the way on the back. It’s true vintage, not glorified used clothes, so vintage lovers must check this place out. The owner was nice. I’m not into antiques or vintage, at all, so I can’t give a true review of the place. I also don’t want to lower the rating, so 4 stars it is.

Stumbled in here one Saturday after brunch and was PLESANTLY suprised! This place is so cute, I walked in not knowing what to expect, and they have some amazing stuff! And honestly, not expensive at all. They had GREAT vinyl records and cool rocks and fossils, mirrors, oh my gosh they had tons of unique things! The jewelry and vintage dresses/hats really impressed me, everything was displayed so neatly and in great condition. The boyfriend was with me and even he got lost in all the great stuff. Proof this place is great for everyone. There’s a little of everything. I walked out with the cutest $ 8 basket and a signed collectors Edgar Martinez plaque for $ 30! What a steal! AND to top it all off the man at the counter was SO nice. Although the place was small(and we were the only ones in there when we first walked in) he greeted us but didn’t make us feel awkward like he was watching our every move. I actually felt like I could touch things without some grumpy voice reminding me, I break I buy. Great customer service has been scarce lately and it’s nice to see some of the best is right in the neighborhood. I’ve been telling everyone I know about this place, it’s DEFINITELY worth stopping in. I can’t wait to go back

Great stuff and super nice, personal service. I swear I’ve walked by 100 times and it was never open, but, voila, there it was as we needed to kill some time picking up our order from Pad Thai on a slushy night when we could FINALLY make it out of the house. Fantastic jewelry, clothing and household goods. Fun, kitschy stuff and some real collectibles. The owner knows what he’s talking about. I’m just not in an acquisition mode(contrary to what my credit card statement says), but I might bring him some things to unload for me. It sounds like he has a pretty good clientele who check with him regularly. And don’t think I won’t continue to be tempted to pick up a little something for myself!

i was referred to go here by a couple friends who said that they have the cutest dresses in small sizes — automatically i got excited. i vintage shop a lot and its hard to find petite sizes! the store is small, but its fun to roam around and look at EVERYTHING and touch everything. the clothes were adorable and well kept, they did have small sizes but they would still need alterations and for the price of them i didn’t really feel like messing with it. i did find a steal on 1920s Christian Dior earrings, a bracelet from France and some other jewelry that were reasonably priced. the owner was a blast. and I’ll definitely go back.

…and I haven’t even shopped here yet! But, I was trapped at the DMV earlier this week on 85th… good grief…(When I arrived, I think I took #384, and they were on #9… Or something.) Anyhow, decided to mosey around Greenwood since I’m a noob,(as indicated by my necessity to go to the DMV…) and am trying to learn this city. I was hunting for lunch when I wandered by Emma Jean’s. Lisa greeted me warmly outside, wanting to know who cut my hair(and as any gal with short hair knows, you find a great beautician by asking someone with a really great haircut where she goes. But that’s a whole other review). Somehow, I ended up inside this georgeous little shop while swapping life stories with Lisa.(I may still go back for those little girlie lamps…) But when I mentioned that I was new and hungry, she took me by the hand, led me back outside, and told me the ins and outs of every buisness on 85th and Greenwood. I ended up eating my lunch next door(again, a whole other review), since the buisness owner’s wife is expecting anyday and I wanted to add my $ 5 to support the cause. And I also know where to go for a massage when I just can’t stand it anymore. And I also know where *not* to eat since people who eat there have heart attacks from the bad service(no, really. That’s what she said.). Can’t wait to come back here to shop when I’m not chained to the DMV!

Thomas Grant, the business owner, named his store after his mama — whose picture is proudly displayed behind the counter. The first thing I noticed when I entered the store was the wonderful smell. All of the items are beautifully displayed and although the store is on the petite side, there is an amazing selection of furniture, one-of-a-kind personal items, clothing and jewelry. Their consignment policy is quite fair and Thomas is very personable — he was a delight.
