After an exhausting 36-hour train ride on Amtrak’s Coast Starlight, we arrived in Seattle just before 9 p.m. When we arrived at the station, the first thing we did was find a cab to get to our hotel. The cab driver took the long way. By the time we got to our room, we were famished. My sister and I refused to eat in the train because we didn’t want to use the bathroom on the train. We ended up at Emerald Grill because it was close. We both ordered the Spinach and Artichoke Dip as an appetizer and the Smoked Salmon BLT for our entrees. My sister got fries for her side dish. I got the onion rings. Overall, the food was divine. We devoured almost everything.

Literally toke 43 minutes to serve a burger. However they play Pink Floyd at the bar so I changed the rating from one to three stars.

This was the restaurant connected to our hotel, so our expectations weren’t very high. But the food was incredible! We would definitely revisit this restaurant in a city of fine dining!

Decent burger, friendly staff. My beer tasted a little old but it’s a fine place to have dinner if you’re staying at the hotel.

Great place for reasonably priced food and a drink while staying at the Holiday inn. The bartender in the afternoons does a great job. He can make some pretty good drinks!

I tried this place because it was convenient to the Holiday Inn express I was staying in. What a mistake that was ! My coke was completely flat, and my fried were totally cold — so the meal was definitely sub-par. Service was even worse though. Three times they tried to overcharge me. kept having to send the bill back and saying«It’s still wrong — try again, and please try harder this time.»

Went in for breakfast and this place is pretty standard for breakfast items. I agree it is a lot like a dennys. The price is reasonable. For two people it was roughly $ 15. The service was slow and it was not very busy. I had to get up and ask to pay the bill. We both got french toast bacon and eggs. The food was hot and the bacon was crunchy! The best thing is crunchy bacon. Worth the price i would visit again.

BAD food. I made the mistake of ordering the only Thai dish on the menu. They claimed that they will serve basmati rice. Whereas what they dumped on my plate was very low quality undercooked rice. Never eating here again.

the service is good. I enjoyed a salad, I know that’s not a meal, but this wasn’t an ordinary salad! I had the Layonnaise salad with crispy pork belly, a poached egg, Frisée, Granny Smith apples, and a bacon vinaigrette. The pork bell was crisp sweet and perfectly contrasted the tart vinaigrette. small chunks of bacon made for little culinary surprises for the palate. I, actually, added an egg and second serving of pork belly which was the perfect addition to an already amazing meal

Wow. What can I say. Emerald Grill gave us the kind of quality service that you would expect from your neighborhood milk man, Perfection. The Clam Chowder was on point. The chicken wings were on point too! Thank you Holiday inn for your astute recommendation. @hawaiband

Great, reasonably priced restaurant attached to the Holiday Inn and just a few steps walk from the Holiday Inn Express(HIE) door. They also provide room service to the HIE. My grilled steak salad was on point, and my dining companion enjoyed her fish and chips, which were my second choice. The crème brûlée dessert was also outstanding. Our server was nice and prompt, restaurant was clean, bar looked fun, no complaints.

This place was great and very convenient! It’s located downstairs from Holiday Inn. Don’t come here expecting a 4 star or Michelin star meal, it’s a normal restaurant with normal food. Quality of the food was good and the service was amazing. Every meal was as expected and every server was friendly and courteous. Just a few tips: 1. Kids eat free! If they try to charge you, talk to a manager. They charged us for one of our meals and the next day, the manager fixed the check and resolved the issue. 2. Mushroom Swiss Burger is no good. 3. Emerald Grill Burger was yummy! 4. Seared Ahi was ok, needs a better sauce. Balsamic and wasabi don’t go well together. Maybe try making it with a soy based sauce. 5. Lastly, go here if you want great service and decent food.

This place has amazing food and our server Nic was the best. He delivered our order with our specifications and gave us some other restaurants to visit per our questions. He is a Pro without being pretentious. Ask for Nic if you have the opportunity to eat here. He is wonderful.

Went for lunch today at a break from a seminar. The staff was wonderful even though there was a sudden crowd. The salads looked delicious. Sadly we ordered the chicken picatta. It was atrocious with about a cup of tasteless, thin, sauce making it nearly impossible to eat the(unfortunately cold) linguine neatly. Three tablespoons of raw garlic were heaped on top of chicken that while tender was tasteless as well. We would have sent the plates back if we hadn’t been in a rush to return to the seminar. The check came quickly as soon as we had finished, making it easy to eat and run. The wait staff here is great… the kitchen needs a little work.

Stopped here for dinner when I was too lazy to find a restaurant. The hostess was also a server in the dining room and was glad that he informed me that the dining room wait would be awhile so I sat in the bar. I ordered the clam chowder, lamb sliders(bar menu) and beer battered shrimp(bar menu). The chowder was actually pretty tasty. It is more brothy than most places and it had a lot of clam. The portion was huge! I got full on the chowder alone. The shrimp were okay, nothing too special, I would not order again. I took the sliders to go since I was so full on chowder and shrimp. I ate them the next day but felt the meat patty to be a bit weird.

Food is fine, if you have plenty of time. I was staying at the Holiday Inn and went here for breakfast two days in a row. The first day, I got here right when they opened at 6:30, and it took over 30 minutes to get through breakfast. The second day I came about an hour later thinking I would miss the rush. Bad idea. Took 30 minutes just to take my order. Both days they had one poor kid running the entire floor; I wouldn’t be surprised if he was cooking the food as well. Like I said, if you plan to eat here, especially breakfast, make sure you are not in a hurry.

Ate here our first night in Seattle, we were tired and thought we’d give it a try and it’s part of the Holiday Inn so why not? I had salmon, she had chicken, the food was prepared nicely, great presentation. Service was good… a cut above most hotel restaurants Decent place

It’s ok, it’s part of the Holiday Inn next door so it’s convenient. The bartender gave a beer to my wife for her bday that was that day, so that was a nice friendly gesture. It’s a cool spot to get out your room and watch the game which we did because the hotel didn’t have the NFL network, but thankfully the bar did and changed the channel for us.

We came very early noon. I really did not want eat out of breakfast menu. I was ready for steak or something like that. I was told that Launch menu starts in 30 minutes. No way i was going to wait 30minutes. After talking to our friendly waitress we could arrange to get for me a salad with steak, which was worth of it. We got 2 desserts. Chocolate cake was melting in my mouth. It was an absolute goodie. :) The restaurant seems a little bit cramped with a space, but it was not too bad. Pretty modern interior. What else? Paid parking. Honestly, that was a turnoff as there was a plenty of parking and they could do something like 30minutes of free parking. They are not that busy and parking was empty.
