I think this place is closed. I’ve never seen it open in a year and a half. Bummer because I would totally stop in that spot all the time to get coffee.

A really sweet guy runs this shop. I don’t know how I’ve passed it for years, lamenting that there isn’t a drive-thru(other than Starbucks. which is much further South) coffee shop in the area. He is there until about 3pm each day, and I appreciate his latte, as the coffee is smooth and it’s carefully made. Drive-thru espresso can be so hit or miss, but I’m a fan of this one – the drinks aren’t overly sweet, and the owner is such a kind face to arrive to.

I regularly stop by for a coffee on my way to go hiking — the location is convenient(right before an entrance to I-90) and the wait is definitely shorter than it would be to park and go in to a Starbucks or other store. One word of caution: the flavored lattes are often sweeter than they would be at Starbucks or other chains. I’ve taken to specifying how many pumps of flavor I want in my coffee, solves the sometimes too-sweet problem. Oh – and he prefers cash to card, especially for small orders.

Neat coffee stand. The hours/signage can seem confusing; sometimes he leaves one of the open signs outside when he’s closed. Really convenient near a #7 bus stop. One of the reviewers says the chai is from scratch? Does Or-eg-on rhyme with our-very-own? I think he said Oregon… now I’m not sure and will go back soon. It’s on a tiny triangle corner so try and go in the right way the first time if you drive.

Bitter because my wife snatched the first to review badge from me. :-) I pride myself on thinking that I was the one who«discovered» this gem on Rainier. Located right near the I-90 turnoff it provides a quick and convenient pit stop for the early morning commuters dying for their caffeine fix. The great thing about this place is that the coffee actually tastes like coffee. In other words, the Lattes don’t taste like a whole lot of milk with a little bit of coffee. It’s strong and flavorful. Plus, it’s cheap! You really get your money’s worth here and you don’t have to listen to Nora Jones while waiting for someone to finish up their minute long coffee order.
