The Better Business Bureau attempted to contact them to resolve this matter and they did not respond, so they have given them a Negative rating, which to them isn’t a big deal… but I would think twice about taking your cloths here as they act as they aren’t responsible if they damage your property… Small Claims court in September. they WILL pay for mine though… *Update 8−8 – 13* They decided to settle out of court, but unfortunately it cost them more money. I only want the cost of the shirt $ 225.00, but seeing that wanted to give poor customer service and not settle, it cost them another $ 139.00(punitive damage and court cost)= $ 360.000 and it cost them a loyal customer, as I won’t be going back and have found another cleaners. Take a Lesson in customer service from Nordstom… when you’re wrong, you’er wrong and take care of your Customer Base !

I like this place. They get the job done and the prices are reasonable. They’ll also mend any loose stitches on an item you bring in.

Was a regular customer, but won’t tolerate customer service like this. I give the one star only for the quality of cleaning, not bad, not good. I used to drop off my cleaning and pay every two or three pickups. The owner went on vacation and had someone take over for them. The owner returned from vacation and said the person handling things had not properly charged me. I had no problem paying when she showed me the receipts. I understood things were settled until the owner showed me another bill. I asked her for some documentation as my debit card showed it paid. The owner said she was never wrong, but would not provide her reconciliation of the account. I was made to feel that if I questioned something I was being dishonest. She said she wouldn’t have time to work on this, «too busy» but wouldn’t give me the clean clothes until I paid. Obviously she was wrong when she left someone else poorly manage her business during her 2 month vacation. I now go to First Cleaners, on Fauntleroy Way. They do a much better job, and provide friendly honest service.

Dry cleaning prices are ok, but lean towards the more expensive side of moderate. Shirt prices are great(~$ 1.00) but you pay for what you get. My shirts tend to come back a little wrinkled around the pocket every time. Either way, the prices are much better than the place kiddie corner at the Admiral Junction. On average, my cleaning bills were about 40% more expensive and took 4 days to get back. Oh, and great customer service. Debonair once ruined a good shirt of mine, but immediately wrote me a $ 70 check.

I’m not sure how much longer this place will be open. The building is slated to become condos once the lease runs out for these cleaners. I like ‘em because the prices are right and they are close to home for me. Busy spot that seems to do a good amount of biz. Hopefully, they won’t move too far away when the time comes.
