Affordable, lovely small gallery owned by a co-​op of artists. Pop in after eating at Geraldine’s like we did! Features several artists at a time and one is often in the gallery to answer questions.
But the best thing is the GIFT SHOP! I need to go back again before I leave town. Cards for $ 3 – 5 … yes, really, and they are clever and creative. Earrings (my downfall) made by artists at great prices. I bought a delicate ceramic tree necklace made from a wooden Scrabble tile! Love it since I play Scrabble often! Go and see for yourself!

This is a great little gallery. The art is diverse and the people are friendly. It’s a co-​op gallery and the artists work the desk. They also have a great, and affordable, gift shop.

The Columbia City Gallery is a great place to tap into serious creativity. The artist who display are often on the floor, and the stories behind the art makes the art just that much better. I find myself drifting in every time I am in Columbia City enjoying a great meal at any one of many great local restaurants. You can get something as simple as a card or hand made candlers, or more elaborate mixed media, scultpure, paintings, or jewelry. And of course, with the new framing company upstairs, a great place to put things all together to create your own «gallery» experience at home.

The Columbia City Gallery is a wonderful place. I love art, but often feel that galleries are snooty and don’t have anything that I could afford in them. Also, I have gone to galleries where the art has been gorgeous, but gigantic and not suitable for the home.
The Columbia City Gallery is different. It is very approachable. It’s more than just great paintings and cool sculptures. They have beautiful jewelry that’s made by folks in the area. They have excellent cards. They offer a full suite of framing services. They’ve got something for everyone.
This would be a great place to pick up a birthday gift for someone (even if you were only spending $ 10), and it’s always worth a trip.

I peeked in here real quick and enjoyed the art I saw. There are a few different artists up and they have very different styles. I kind of fell in love with one…
It’s a nice space with a gift shop in the back and a company that does framing on the upper floor area. The woman working seemed friendly and helpful. Columbia City has such a wonderful community feel to it these days… I love it.
