Came here for a study session. Received the most watery, weak latte ever. Definitely didn’t taste like it had more than half a shot of espresso in there. Tried to tell the barista but she got super defensive and basically told me I was mistaken and there was no way that could happen. Okay. On the plus side, the sandwiches, salads, and pastries here are pretty tasty and they have lots of savory options to choose from. Cool, neighborhood vibe.

Cloud City is the closest coffee shop to my house, so I’ve been there a few times. But it’s not the kind of place I’d hang out on a regular basis. I don’t dislike the place, it’s just not my thing. They make a good drink. But their food is overpriced. And if I want to pay that much, I’d rather go someplace that will give me what I pay for. The best thing about this coffee shop, though, is the self serve station. Walk in, fill up, put cash in the box on the counter. You can’t beat quick, $ 1 coffee.

This is one of my favorite spots for coffee and a quick bite. Today I had the BBQ brisket sandwich to go and it was superb! Perfect mixture of sweet and smoky. Their iced coffee is super tasty too. This is a family owned café and always poppin’ especially on the weekend. No matter how long the line is they have a great system to take your order and move you through quickly. They have a lot of house specialities like their coconut bread, chai mix, and an array of sandwiches for both carnivores and veggies. There literally seems to be something for everyone including the kids. They have a small play area for kids to let out their aggression while you enjoy a cup of joe. If you like pie or quiche they usually have several varieties that change daily. I’ve never been disappointed in the food or service. They have ample outside seating and most of it is covered. There’s a nice place to tie up your pooch outside too and a bowl of water as well. Did I mention that they have tons of baked goods, custom sandwiches, fruit smoothies and bagels?

Love the Blt and breakfast sandwich! Good pastries too. This is our go to place for morning coffee. It almost too popular! I just wish we could have it all to ourselves.

I LOVE Cloud City! I’ve been going here for many many years. I grew up in walking distance of this area. Now that I’m adulting, I still go here! I’ve enjoyed watching this place evolve over the years. The coffee and pastries have always been magnificent. I’ve never had a complaint. They have SO many milk alternatives, which I LOVE. I can’t have any dairy milk or soy milk, so I don’t have very many choices when I go anywhere else. But here, they have SO many other options! I always go for rice milk. The staff are always very friendly. I go here so often; they know my entire family, and my drink order! My favorite pastry has to be the Elvis Scone, or the coconut bread. If you happen to be in on a Friday, that’s when they are usually serving up the Elvis! Thanks for always being the best place in the neighborhood!

My boyfriend and I have been getting our coffee and breakfast here almost every morning for at least eight years and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. The place is clean, the food is great(lots of gluten free options for me!) and the staff is the best. Nothing but love for Cloud City!

For the greater Seattle area, this is an affordable place to get an afternoon treat right next to a wonderful park. We got a HUGE ginger peach scone, DELICIOUS slice of coconut bread, and INNOVATIVE Mexican bread pudding for $ 7! Not sure if we hit some special Tuesday afternoon deal, but we all enjoyed what we got. Cute décor, other food looked great, and looking forward to trying the coffee. If you are with kids, worth a cross city drive to sample Cloud City and then play at the fabulous Maple Leaf park.

New to the Seattle area & decided to have breakfast here based on the stellar reviews. I will say that may be my first mistake. I was looking for a good breakfast burrito and my second mistake may have been opting for the Potato Burrito when they were out of the regular breakfast burritos. The ingredients sounded great: Eggs, Potato, Salsa and Cheese. Mmmk, can’t go wrong there right? WRONG. This was not only a super small burrito, but somehow managed to be pasty. I’m not sure how a tortilla can congeal but this one did. It was tasteless and bland. I have never had a burrito this bad to be quite honest. I won’t discount the whole restaurant because of that but to walk out having paid $ 16 for a small coffee, an Odwalla and 2 tiny, tasteless burritos sure felt like I got the shaft.

I live really close to here, which has been a good and bad(because I go way too much). The coconut bread is holy-crap delicious. Pace yourself when you eat it though, because it is super rich! I’m more of a fan of their food since I don’t drink coffee and their chai tea is average. Other things that I really enjoy: chicken salad(I just get it on greens now), vegan chickpea salad, BLT, pulled pork sandwich with spicy BBQ sauce. Depending on their baker — the cookies are yum yum! I prefer it when they cook them on the softer side though, they don’t always do that so when they are crunchy, I’m bummed. I wish they would serve the ginger molasses cookies more, I never liked cookies with ginger or molasses before I tried these and they are one of the best cookies I’ve ever had. Also, one time they had blueberry pecan muffins, man I loved them. I think they were made with ground pecans because it didn’t have noticeable chunks of nuts in the muffin. I also like their morning glory and regular blueberry muffins, but something about the blueberry muffin with pecan added in the batter put it over the top. They use good quality bread for their sandwiches, which is a huge thing for me. The thing that lowers this place is the service. Sometimes it’s outstanding, but some of the people that work there aren’t very good and if I wasn’t already a fan of this place it would turn me off. I’ve had the sauce on my pork sandwich left off on several occasions. Other customers have taken my food on busy days because there is no way to tell which order is yours because they don’t put a name with your order and just call out the dish when it’s done, but multiple people order the same thing, so it’s hard to know what’s yours.

Super laid back, friendly and mellow. I wish I had known how loud it is — super kid-friendly. Come here to catch up with a friend or come with good headphones, but probably don’t come for quiet reading or focused work.

Cloud City Coffee has been around for over a decade in the Maple Leaf neighbourhood of Seattle. This place is the very definition of community coffeehouse frequented by customers of all ages. I have visited this café multiple times to meet friends. Each time I have been pleased with my drinks and food. Their coffee is locally roasted from Tony’s in Bellingham, roasters since 1971. If you love their coffee, you can buy it either whole bean or ground to order. They offer the usual specialty drinks plus a self-serve drip coffee honour bar: $ 1 for 8 oz, or if you bring your own 16 oz, it’s still one dollar! The honour bar offers our varieties available daily: a decaf blend and three rotating blends including dark roast and a single origin coffee. CCC loves their regulars! If you buy 10 pre-paid espresso drinks, you can save 30% off! If you have a go-to drink, buy 10 of that variety, you pay for only 7 of them! How cool is that? Feeling snacky? You are in for a treat. They make nearly everything in-house or it’s locally sourced from neighbouring businesses. Breakfast sandwiches and burritos are available in addition to full sandwiches(made to order), or split sandwiches with soup or salad. All sandwiches include your choice of a small bag of chips or a small house salad. There are frittatas and quiches available every day, with 8 varieties available(4 veg and 4 meat). If you have a sweet tooth, they sell coffee cake, cookies, muffins, scones, pies(both fruit and cream), croissants, and tremendously tasty coconut bread. They also serve an assortment of vegan doughnuts from Mighty O Donuts, with cinnamon rolls during the weekends! There are comfortable couches, a lending library, games, newspapers, free Wi-Fi, and a kid’s play area. There is ample indoor seating with doors that open wide to their outdoor patio, when the weather permits. Parking can be scarce with only a few spots directly in front of the business itself. There is also street parking but be mindful of signage and driveways before leaving your car. I’ve seen cars towed.

Great little neighborhood coffee shop! Right near Maple Leaf Reservoir Park. You can grab a cup of coffee or a hot chocolate and then go to the park. This place is crowded on the weekends, so if you need a place to work it might be hard to find space here. Tip: bring your own mug for the drip coffee and it’s only a dollar! !

This is a cute neighbourhood coffee shop. I love how they offer a variety of food options. I got a mushroom and feta quiche and a small latte. The customer service here is awesome. Unfortunately, I didn’t like the quiche crust or latte(a touch too bitter and tangy), but I am sure they have better and tastier food items than what I got.

Sandwiches are good and fresh. the BLTISAMAZING with avocado added. Chicken salad sandwich was really good. breakfast sandwich and burrito is just ok. coffee is fine. pastries are good. lots of young kids which fits the neighborhood. closes at 6pm which means I go on day off only. maple leaf need a coffee shop that opens later, but if everyone has a bedtime at 8, I guess it makes sense for business. I like this better than Javasti. The service is friendlier by far and better space and options for food than Blue Saucer.

Hot damn this places makes some fine sandwiches. Especially breakfast sandwiches, the most delicious of all sandwiches, which I always get on a grill-toasted English muffin. The pulled pork, somewhat unexpectedly, is also very good and the espresso BBQ sauce is extra nice on top. Despite the variety of items available, everything we’ve tried has been pretty damn good. The staff is also super friendly and manage to be very attentive while keeping the line moving fast. Also, water is self-service from the soda fountain that looks like it’s behind the counter and inaccessible. It’s fine to grab a clear plastic cup from by the register and walk back there even though it looks like it’s off limits.

What a cute neighborhood joint! This area is more residential and less commercial so a place like this is a welcome addition for coffee lovers this part of town. Not only can they make a decent cup of joe, they also have good food. Kudos to them for having a couple of well-labeled gluten free items! I’ve heard great things about their pastries too although I’ve yet to try them myself. I’ve mostly been on a frittata/quiche kick so I’ve been trying the variety they have. While none of the ones I’ve tried have blown my mind, they’re still solid eggy breakfast offerings. They’re satisfying and will hit the spot for you. I’m not too happy about them being microwaved but I suppose I can’t complain too much because they hold up from being reheated. Wish they’d invest in a panini press though to warm them that way! Service is always super friendly. It’s a great café to take your kids and even dogs to as I’ve seen many others do. Parking is not a challenge. You’ll leave caffeinated and full!

C3. Cloud. City. Coffee. I have nothing but love for you. You always seem to surprise me and that’s just another reason why I hold you high regard. Your coconut bread always brings a smile to my tastebuds. I’ve been lucky enough to have your delicious dark roast coffee, and let’s not forget those tasty BLTA(bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado sammies). Your cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and friendly on the pocketbook prices keep me coming back.

Very cute shop with nice people working here! Good coffee. Cloud City has the makings of a cozy neighborhood hub. I stopped in for a coffee and a light breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches ranged from $ 3.25-$ 4.50 for 1 topping, 2 toppings, 3 toppings, or adding a croissant instead of an English muffin. Their breakfast burritos are the smallest I’ve seen! I ordered the breakfast sandwich on an English muffin with egg and cheese. Sorry to say it’s in the running for the worst breakfast sandwich I have had. First of all, very tiny. The cheese was melted all over the sides of the sandwich and the egg was very overcooked. And for $ 4! I felt robbed that I was charged that for a measly overcooked sandwich that has about 75 cents worth of ingredients in it. However, friendly faces and cute shop. I just wouldn’t order food here again.

This is a nice little neighborhood café, staffed by pleasant people. It wasn’t terribly busy around 11AM, but appeared to host a variety of regulars. I appreciated that they had vegan and gluten-free food options available. My friend told me that they have really good sandwiches, so I’ll try one of those the next time I go! I ordered a vegetarian GF frittata and received a generous slice. It wasn’t anything special, but it was nice and salty and perfectly filling. I also ordered a 12 oz chai-der-nog(chai, cider, and egg nog) off their winter drink menu(I love that they have one! I love seasonal drinks!), and they mixed their sweet and spicy chai teas together for me. My drink was fine, kind of nondescript, yet with somewhat warring flavors. if that makes sense. I think I would have preferred either just a chai-der OR a chai-nog, but I was feeling greedy and curious.
