Cascade is a sweet little shop in Shoreline that has all the tasty high end stuff you don’t see at GC or Mills Music. He knows high end gear.
I went there for a fret crown and level on an old gibson, and I had it back two days later, the setup having fully rejuvenated a guitar that i was gonna consider selling… until I played it again. definitely a good experience

Matt at Cascade Guitars will treat you right. He’s got a good eye for deals and he does really great work for setting up guitars at a very reasonable price. He helped me with two of my guitars– installed a nut and repaired some bridge work. Both were done nicely and quickly. He is somewhat of a guitar nazi (I say this with great affection) — he only likes the high-end/quality stuff, but he did compliment me on my Martin D-35 Japanese knock-off, saying he was surprised at how good it sounded (which he’s right). He’ll definitely talk shop with you and is a really great guy to deal with.
