Bettie Page was known as the «Queen of Pinups», for those not in the know.
Forget the Space Needle, Fremont Troll, and Starbucks– this reminds me I am in Seattle.
This piece of art was born in August of 2006, and you’ll never forget it once you see it.
Definitely worth driving by, its before the Lake City Way exit heading north on I-​5.
I am so glad it has survived all these years, even next to a Mormon church!

I’ve driven past Ms. Page since HS, and was always a reference in my directions for directing friends and family not familiar with north Seattle of which exit to take. Ms. Page is conveniently located about a quarter mile before a Mormon church (dum dum dum dum dum!), which is always entertaining and fun to think about.
