Great company to work for with a very generous ⁹⁰⁄₁₀ split. Ron is wonderful (Designated Broker) You’ll be required to pay your way but monthly fee, MLS fee, CBA fee, and Supra Fee (if you want to do multifamily or single family sales) equates to about $ 175/​month. You provide your own office/​Internet/​lead generation software (fee to you but the choice is yours)/clients/signs/business cards but even with these added expenses the company offers the best split on the market and after $ 7,000 to the brokerage the split goes ¹⁰⁰⁄₀. You’ll start out at ⁹⁰⁄₁₀ each new year but that’s a deal. Work from home. The world is your oyster.

We recently had a Better Properties broker (Joel Martin) show our home to potential clients. Although we were only given about 20 – 30 minutes notice (on Easter Sunday, no less) we were able to accommodate the showing — the house is always kept in «show-​ready» condition.
Upon coming home, we found every interior door to have been left open — i.e. Closets and cupboards as well as some drawers. Also, several items on shelves had been disturbed. The main floor toilet had also been used and not flushed. At this time, we are unsure if anything was taken from the home, but will be looking into it.
We realize that the broker, himself, is probably not to blame, directly. However, we also feel that a good broker would not have allowed these things to happen, or at the very least, would have ensured they were corrected prior to leaving our home.
We are hoping that our property is not suitable for Mr. Martin’s clients because, based on the initial experience, we would really prefer to work with a different broker. Sad, but true.
