No where else can you get a torta this delicious and at a great price. The owner is really friendly and doesn’t mind coming over to chat with you about anything. It’s a small place, but that’s part of the homey charm. I’m just worried that this place will close, just like all of the small businesses that don’t seem to be able to hold it together.

I freakin’ love this place and love how I have a killer one stop shop for all my authetic mexican cravings with Barriga Llena and Tacos Chukis in the same building :)

This is how I get my boyfriend to go to Sounders games with me. All I have to do is mention the word«Torta». His ears perk up, and he gets all excited, he almost pees himself. Yes, these sandwiches are that good. Our favorite is the Toloquena: Carne Asada, chorizo, cheese, mayo, refried beans, lettuce, avocado and tomatoes. I don’t like avocado or tomatoes, so I give them to my boyfriend. I always top it off with what is inevitably too much of their tasty spicy salsa. But I love it anyways. I get 1, and my boyfriend gets 2. Then, after I am done with my first sandwich, I make sad puppy eyes at him to get a couple bites out of his second.

Located just a floor below some of the tastiest tacos in the city, reside a large selection of very tasty tortas. Fantastic flavor, filling, and reasonably priced for what you get. Pleasant staff to boot. Try it out, you’ll like it!

A very good Torta with a lot of flavor and extremely filling. The Chorizo is very rich and you probably will have to run 10 miles after eating. The service is fairly slow when they are busy. But, it is worth it. The price at $ 8-$ 9 for a sandwich is kinda steep but, I was happy with the sandwich.

Tortas Anyone?!? I would love to review the Barriga Llena mobile truck. The food truck out front of the Starbucks Office in SODO was where I was first introduced to these sandwiches. They are fabulous… but get there early if you spot one or the chipotle salsa(hot sauce) will be gone. Original tortas are hard to come across. A true torta is food from the street where a cart would make these to order with whatever you wanted. Having had and enjoyed this sandwich from outside the country, I find it hard to find a duplicate in the states. This torta factory has a masterful combination of sandwich choices. Im sure they could build to order, but with a selection such as theirs, id try them out first. As with most places, try a few different things.(go with a friend and swap half your torta with them) The torta is large. Half the torta satisfied me… but i still finished the second half! Ive had these choices: Barrigona-(basically a meat sampler with avacado and cheese)-Flavorful with some of the hot stuff added, peppers and/or hot sauce. The meat is OK on its own but good in combination… I felt like the torta really needed the hot sauce and peppers I added. Argentina-Simple, its breaded steak, homemade chorizo and oaxican cheese. Holds its own. De Lomo-MMMM flavorful torta with good sauce combo. My favorite. Naturally I love what they put into it though. In my opinion, their chorizo and pork are the two best meats they offer They make tacos; last time I was at the mobile truck they had specials: fish tacos or Taco Salad… both looked really good when I saw them in the happy hands of the passersby. Ive gone to this location once, because its about the food. ;) Come hungry! Please note, their original location has lots of great reviews. To be fair, I like this place because it is one of the few better torta shops. There are some flavors Id like to see more of but I supplement that with the hot stuff.
