I attended the spring session of Art Camp for Big Kids and loved it! I was a bit leary because I’m not such a fan of group activities, but I love art and creativity and getting out of the city. WOW! I’m so glad I went. The projects were fun, engaging, and included things that I’ve always wanted to learn like knitting. I consider myself creative already, but being an artist or crafter or maker of things is not a requirement to attend. The only requirement that I was able to determine was being able to have a full-on belly laugh without dropping your art project. The collection of attendees is diverse but everyone was delightful. Art Camp for Kids is not only good for folks who are stressed out and overworked, but it’s also a great opportunity to anyone who wants to learn some new art skills and have fun.

I went to Art Camp for Big Kids last year with a friend and we had SUCH a great time! The craft projects were plentiful, the activities were thought provoking, and the people were super friendly. I never felt pressured to do anything I didn’t feel like doing(no strict agendas here!) so everything I did do was a really enjoyable. I really recommend Art Camp for Big Kids to anyone who needs a break from the busy-ness of life and wants to recharge those inner creative batteries! For real. Do it. You won’t regret it.

Fantastic! It’s great to have a place to go that offers everything you need to get crafty, especially when you lack the space to be crafty at home:-)

What a fun way to spend an afternoon! Art Camp for Big Kids is a great space to create a community for that«kid» still inside of us… yearning to make another appearance. I thoroughly enjoyed the tutu-making class and look forward to future endeavors each time I’m in Seattle. Go and get your crafty on… be a big kid, too!
