Arsene Construction is the most professional contractor we have ever worked with. Period.
If you are looking to renovate or to purchase a beautifully appointed new & modern home, stop researching and call these guys straight away. We had been talking about an overhaul for a large master bathroom for 10 years but were paralyzed by questions about who to use, choice of materials, etc. Being two working professionals with two kids didn’t help. Alicia and her team quickly sized up our needs, our budget and our time frame and set to work. Alicia is a USC-​trained architect with vision, creativity and detail orientation… a rare mix in our experience.
The Arsene team worked us through the budget and design, taking care to incorporate small details that mattered to us (higher counters because we’re tall, hidden cabinets for hair dryers, garbage and recycling drawers to keep stuff from dog that will eat anything, etc.). They then worked around our materials paralysis by identifying our go-​to style and then presenting us with a limited number of options.
Once materials were selected, a team was assigned and a timeline identified. I don’t know how they hire, but all of their in-​house leads are awesome, taking time to walk us through the process and options, updating us on timing, and making sure the site was cleaned up at then end of each night (we were still in the house). Even their subs are awesome and seemed genuinely happy to work with Arsene (most of them appear to work almost exclusively on Arsene jobs).
Even though we changed something mid-​project, the Arsene team still came in on budget.
Bottom line: we ended up with a dream bathroom. The water room Alicia designed (two shower heads and a tub that fills from the ceiling all enclosed in glass) is spectacular. The higher counters and hidden cabinets are wonderful. Our friends are constantly asking for repeat tours and some have even sent THEIR friends to see what is possible.
