Amy Fasig, ND

I recommend Dr. Fasig to everyone I know looking for a primary care physician. She is the most attentive, thoughtful, knowledgeable and friendly doctor I have ever worked with. Broken down, here are the reasons she’s so amazing:
1) TIME: She spent a full hour with me on my first appointment, and subsequent appointments feel just as full and complete — I never feel rushed. I can take all the time I need to ask questions, and she seems happy to sit with me and answer them.
2) KNOWLEDGEABLE: She is incredibly knowledgeable and able to answer most questions off the top of her head. She is also willing to do research and contact you with other options/​ideas when you come up with a question she can’t answer.
3) HOLISTIC: She actually reviews her notes and your history before you come in so she’s completely informed about what’s going on (even if it’s been a year or two since you last saw her). She also checks in with you about past or new issues while you’re there (even if it’s not the reason for your visit.)
4) NATURAL: She always offers you the natural options, as well as more traditional/​medicinal options, and lets you choose. Recently I had a bad flu, and she talked me through many different options, and we came up with a combination of vitamin regimen, over the counter, and prescription drugs to keep my bronchitis from turning to pneumonia. I appreciate her primary natural approach, but also that I don’t feel judged if I ask for something chemical to immediately ease the pain/​symptoms.
5) CONVENIENT: She will set up appointments by email, checks her email frequently, and will even answer your questions by email (when possible). There are no forms to fill out, or wait while she runs from patient to patient; she does her own intake, and only has one examining room. I have never waited more than 5 minutes for an appointment.

I send all my friends and customers to Dr. Amy Fasig. She is a great ND, and also a great resource for high quality supplements, like Thorne. She is personable and professional, and I feel very at ease in her office, which is located on top of Queen Anne.

I started seeing Dr Fasig a year ago when I started having the dreaded menopause hot flashes & mine were bad. My Acupucturist Kate Townsend recommended her & I have the highest respect & trust for Kate, so I booked an appt with Dr Fasig. I have the same level of respect & trust for Dr Fasig. She is just amazing, I feel so comfortable with her & am so impressed by her incredible knowledge. She treats patients holistically & by the way my hot flashes were gone in 2 weeks! She is my primary doctor, no one else could compare! I would & do recommend her to anyone & especially to women. Women’s issues are a specialty of hers.
