Allstate Insurance: Barry V. Hasson

My family has done business with Barry Hasson insurance for over 30 years. His entire staff has always been very helpful and respectful of our needs. It’s funny that you always hope to never call Barry. Nobody wants to use their insurance. When the need does arrive and you make the call, it is nice to know everybody is there to help. I just don’t know how it is that every time Barry adds a new employee they are the same as Barry,. Professional, Helpful and treat you like family. Many thanks to the entire Barry Hasson family for all you do.

Barry and his team are always fast to respond to questions, clear in their answers, and have provided me with great and affordable service for renter’s insurance for the past 2 years! I plan to continue using them as long as I’m in Seattle, and highly recommend them to friends and family (and the Unilocal community!)

I came here after moving from Alaska and went to a different AllState before this one and the guy was very quiet and tried to scam me almost 900 dollars on the spot. I felt like this wasn’t right considering I had just paid almost that much for insurance in Alaska. So I came to Barry Hasson’s AllState and talked to Tammy. She was really friendly right off the spot and told me that I didn’t have to pay any extra costs since my insurance could rollover to this state. She was really helpful and super sweet.

I have known Barry and his team both in a professional manner, as a former real estate office manager for 11 years, and as a customer for over 13 years. When I transitioned into a new career, I thought it might be wise to pinch pennies and save a couple of bucks on my 4-​star insurance through Allstate by going through a reputable discount brokerage instead.
Big mistake! The broker that serviced my transition to the new company was inept and unfamiliar with insurance laws and the basic logistics of my home. For example, my 1929 house had an oil tank; the agent seemed ill-​prepared to deal with a policy involving this simple heating method in older homes. When I moved from my property and became a landlord, the situation only grew worse. After a series of errors and ineptitude, I humbly called Barry and begged him to take me back. He was gracious and respectful of the decision I felt I needed to make only months prior.
When I came in to sit down personally with Barry, he thoroughly reviewed my policies — rentals, business, home — and saved me even more money than the discount brokerage because he was knowledgeable about discounts I was entitled to as a small business owner. It’s cheesy to say it, but the slogan is true, you really are «in good hands» when you choose Allstate, and Barry specifically. Barry is personable and professional and I know he will be my insurance agent as long as he’s in business. I highly recommend Barry and his stellar team!

I have had the misfortune of having to deal with Adrian who works in Barry Hasson’s office. I have had to speak with her to make changes to our policy. Each time she has been extremely resistant to allowing us to make changes to our policy. This last time was the final straw. She actually refused to let me make changes to our policy.
I ended up calling the national 1 – 800 number and spoke with someone there who helped me make changes that saved us hundreds of dollars. I was surprised at how easy it is to make changes and it made me realize even more just how rude and incompetent Adrian is.

I have been with Barry and Allstate for 10+ years and they continue to impress me. Today I called to added a second car to my policy and it took all of 5 minutes, seriously! During that time we reviewed and made some changes to the policy to verify that I wasn’t paying more than I needed to.

I have been using Barry for over seven years. He has always given me the best prices and outstanding customer service. My mother-​in-​laws battery was dead in her Honda, and she called me to help her out. I called Barry and told him that my mother-​in-​law was having, and he took care of the situation.
Thanks Barry for all your help. Every time, I see Dennis Haysbert doing an Allstate commercial; I remember what a good job Barry, and his team are doing.
