I have been to 2 work parties at the Central District location and they are a wonderful way to learn about gardening.
The people running this organization do what organizers do best… they empower each person to take on responsibility and showcase their own strengths to support the group’s goals.
This is a good model for all organizing.
Very fun to get your hands dirty and turn a plot of unused land into something that will feed people.
