Although I haven’t received my merchandise yet, I am sure it will be of impeccable quality. Jack was terrific and we went over every possible way to reuse an old down blanket that was, well, coming apart at the seams. I’m pretty sure the discussion lasted close to an hour going over everything. He has a lovely workshop in what I would assume to be the Phinnell area of Seattle.(Northwest off/near ’99 and I-5) It was quite easy to get to once I put the right address into the location finder. There is a driveway to park in so you don’t have to worry about parking on the small side streets unless there’s another customer there. We corresponded quite a bit by e-mail before I made the drive and I’ve not met a better quality communicator in my online sales dealings since the early days of e-bay. I’m having a new down comforter built from scratch since the quality of my old was something I would have problems with further down the line. We decided to remake what we could out of my old down comforter into a new pillow. The prices were extraordinarily reasonable — especially for custom. I’d shopped other places and they wanted threefold the cost for the same thing. I have every faith that when I get my items, I will be very happy but I will update if warranted. ps. They do everything from sleeping bags to pillows to feather beds. It’s more for custom but their«rack» prices are very good. I also love the fact that they try to salvage as much as they can out of what you used to use. It’s always nice when you know things aren’t just being adding to the landfill.

I purchased the travel pillow and pillow protectors for our long international flight. The quality of both the pillow and protector are as good as it gets. I sewed some flannel pillowcases to make it extra snuggly. I appreciated Jack’s thorough understanding of what was needed for the flight. I asked him whether I should purchase extra goose down for a more supportive pillow. He said the medium fill was designed so that you could sink your head down without it being pushed up. I have neck issues at my C3 and C4 spine and I appreciated him explaining the filling as a ergonomic design. More is not always better!
