Dr. Woodle seemed like a nice guy, I guess.
I was here for a plantar wart (bottom of my foot). He actually suggested that wrapping non-​afflicted parts of my body with duct tape could mysteriously alleviate my wart. Then he started to suggest homeopathic methods, although when I explained to him how homeopathy «works,» he seemed not to have a very firm grasp on what it was, exactly.
So, basically, he did exactly what my primary care physician would have done (froze it off), but with a heaping dollop of quack science! I guess I shouldn’t be, but I was shocked that this person with his own practice didn’t possess the scientific rigor it takes to discern that homeopathy is bullshit (it doesn’t take much scientific rigor).

I came from several hours away in order to see Dr. Woodle. He was friendly, personable, knowledgable, and gave a very thorough exam. He examined how I walk, looked at the shoes I brought in, took X-​rays, and explained everything to me in layman’s terms. On top of all that, he allowed me to video him with my iPhone pointing to my X-​rays and explaining everything aloud, so I could go back later and watch/​listen again. He gave me over an hour of his time. Gave several alternatives for treatment, and explained the pros and cons of each. Highly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Woodle is the best podiatrist in the city. When you are with him, he gives you his complete and utter focus, as if you are the only patient in the world. He clearly loves his work and is so good that the Pacific Northwest Ballet dancers use him as their foot doctor. He has even invented foot-​related devices. When I had foot surgery, he gave me the most complete set of instructions I had ever seen, and told me to call him day or night if I had even one listed symptom. I did call him and he was gracious and helpful even though it was the middle of the night. He does more follow-​up visits than any doctor I have known — (and doctors can’t charge for follow-​up visits, so they are basically for free). Besides all this, Dr. Woodle has a nice manner and is just a downright decent person. He is an old-​fashioned doctor when it comes to attention paid to patients, yet up-​to-​date on all things ‘foot’ related.

Dr. Woodle is fantastic! After dealing with an incompetent physician’s assistant through Grouphealth, I finally got in to see someone who knows what he is doing! Two months after a break, the bone wasn’t healing at all and in fact, was broken even more — Grouphealth was unwilling to do anything. Dr. Woodle performed surgery, checked in with me daily via phone, saw me every week, and I am finally walking again!
My appreciation goes out to Dr. Woodle and his staff’s advocacy on my part (wrangling with Grouphealth and performing surgery through Swedish). He came highly recommended to me by a number of his past and former patients. Now I highly recommend him!

Be prepared to wait — I left after 45 mins. I remembered why I didn’t go back after I went three years ago — because I had to wait so bloody long. Incredibly rude and disrespectful of patients’ time — I’ll take my business elsewhere. As far as his my visit from 3 yrs ago, it was an average experience.

To begin, Dr. Woodle is a very compassionate, caring and genuine person who has the utmost concern for your well-​being, treatment and recovery.
I’m a dancer and was having troubles with my left foot catching and locking in place when I would go into a full pointed position when not bearing weight. Dr. Woodle came highly recommended by a dance professor of mine in college, so after graduating and moving back to Seattle I made sure to visit him as soon as I could.
Following an in-​office exam and x-​ray, Dr. Woodle informed me that I had what is called a calcaneo-​navicular partial coalition, which is where two of the large bones in the foot just below the ankle are growing towards one another. In my case, there was a ¼ inch bone growth on the front of my heel bone which was getting locked between other bones when my joint moved. We discussed possible treatments and decided TOGETHER that surgery would be the best option, because it would only get worse with time and possibly lead to fracture of the bones.
My surgery was Dec. 30, 2009 and went very well. It was wonderful to have Dr. Woodle present before and after the surgery to go over all of the details, and even show me the piece of bone he removed from my foot (it was really neat). After his prescribed and rigorous physical therapy schedule, in-​home care, and weekly in-​office visits with him (these all lasted just under 3 months) I was back dancing at my previous level, and have only continued to improve since. My foot is stronger than it was before, and the pain and locking are completely gone.
If I were ever to need a podiatrist again, Dr. Woodle would be the FIRST person I would contact for advice and consultation.

I came into the Greenwood Foot & Ankle for bunion pain. Dr. Woodle & his staff were very friendly. However, he told me that I could no longer run, jump, or kick. Being a soccer player this devastated me! All he did was take an X-​ray and explain why I was having pain and that surgery would not fix my problem. He did offer up padding for pain relief but I thought he would have ran some other tests & made me orthodics. I wasn’t that impressed. Since seeing Dr. Woodle I went to the WA Foot & Ankle Sports Medicine and am now pain free & can continue playing soccer!

Dr. Woodle is amazing! I brought my daughter to see him for a pre pointe exam. He spent about an hour with us and explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. He has a great demeaner and sense of humor.
The office staff is really nice and they even billed my insurance direct.

I had a great time today at the Greenwood Foot and Ankle Center.
This is a little, unimpressive building on Greenwood, a place you won’t look at twice or even notice unless foot problems bring you here.
However, if you have problem feet, Dr Woodle is a great place to get some help.
I thought I had plantar warts on my feet, turns out they were basically a callous problem. I also have a toenail that is very malformed (pincer) and it’s just kind of UGLY.
Dr Woodle was gentle, friendly, and funny! I got a ton of great info and he shaved down the calloused area a bit to relieve the pressure.
I got to bring in an assortment of my shoes, too… and we discussed how shoes affect life. And how life affects feet.
I highly recommend this Dr for your feet. Do they need some love? How is YOUR life going?
