This is the best place for your hair removal needs. After trying a few different MedSpas for hair removal, and having disappointing treatments and outcomes, I was about to lose hope. I was referred to ALCOS by a friend and am forever grateful. I have been so pleased with the results of my treatments! The staff is well trained and educated, give clear instructions and expectations, and consistent treatments. I’m so happy to have found this place!

If you are thinking of getting laser hair removal I highly recommend ALCOS. In my opinion it’s the best place in Seattle. You feel so comfortable with their staff, the office location is convenient and beautiful, pricing is reasonable. Have worked with them over the years for different parts of my body and going hair free is so nice– the lasting results of laser treatment have been excellent!

Clean and beautiful office, great staff and successful results. I finished 6 treatments at the end of February 2014. I decided to wait until now to review my results. I had large reduction of hair in all three areas of treatment about 90% but not complete elimination. The remaining hairs were thin but I still wanted them gone. I continued with 2 more treatments recommended and have not yet had any remaining hairs. I would highly recommend this treatment for those who want to get rid of hair on legs, bikini and underarms.

I stopped going here over a year ago. I had 12 treatments done and spent around $ 7000. I was told originally that most people do not need more than 6 treatments and due to my light skin I would be a good candidate. After my first 6 the gal who was treating me said it was common to take 9 to 12 treatments. After 12 the hair was a little less but not what I had hoped. I gave up. I always had the same person for each visit. She was always nice and very professional. She would often go back over the area on two different settings. The only problem I had with her was that when I said that I was not going to get more treatments she told me she had doubted that the treatments would work on me in the first place due to my blond/red hair. I wish she would have told me these instead of selling me more painful and expensive treatments. After a year my hair is the same as it was before the treatments.

A bit pricy, but well worth it. So happy that I’m getting my facial hair removed. The staff are really nice and patient. The service is good. Caveats I was informed of: 1. Depending on the area, the skin pigment, and the hair color, the treatment might be more or less effective. The fairer the skin and the darker the hair, the more effective the treatment will be. 2. Facial hair removal(for men) takes at least 8 sessions, and might take up to 12 or more sessions. 3. This isn’t permanent, but depending on your hormones and the treated area, the maintenance can be few and far between.

I’ve had a good experience overall with laser hair removal on my legs and underarms. The staff is very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. Appointments were efficient and flexible. You basically can ice down areas that you are concerned about having pain with(around the ankles and underarms). Also, the laser end is «cold» and so it provides some relief from the quick«snap» that you feel of the laser. You wear dark glasses to protect your eyes, and can leave undergarments on during the procedure. It really isn’t that painful — and I didn’t need to take ibuprofen. I did have one session where my skin looked a little red afterwards, and I had recently been in the sun, which is what probably caused this. After the first treatment, I noticed reduced hair growth after about a week! The next few treatments didn’t really seem to alter the results that much more — it seems the most dramatic effect was after the first treatment. After six treatments, I felt pretty hair-free for about 3 – 4 weeks. Then, it started to grow in again in sporadic areas. I had hoped my results would be longer lasting, but it seems that there were a lot of I «missed» spots and a lot of blond hairs growing quickly back so that I’m shaving almost every day if I want smooth skin. The hair on my legs and underarms are definitely a lot less visible, but there is a lot of fine blond hairs if you look closely, and I guess these are beyond the scope of laser treatment. I had one touch up treatment about 6 months ago(and a few months after my last treatment), and it does reduce growth of the hair for a while before it starts to reappear again. What was dissappointing was how expensive the single maintenance treatment was(not part of a package). It seems like the occasional touch up should be priced a lot lower to allow people to enjoy longer term results, since the initial investment is quite high. I’m shaving a lot less than before, but not razor-free as I had hoped!

Been a customer here for almost a year and like how comfortable they made me feel when having my back done. Really like the results and recommend this place.

The best place in Seattle to get laser done. I’ve gone to them for a couple years to get various parts of my body lasered so that I would be hair free. I’ve gone to other places, but the ALCS is the very best. Highly recommended. Just search on city search or a few other other review sites, and you will find hundreds of 5 star reviews. Highly recommended.

Aesthetic Laser Center of Seattle seems to have staffing issues. I’ve been going to Aesthetic Laser Center of Seattle for a little over a year(about 13 treatments), and I just visited my forth esthetician. The first three left for unknown reasons. Each time, my upcoming appointment was transitioned to a new esthetician without warning. This has resulted in inconsistent treatments and service. The most recent esthetician was unprofessional. Based on her behavior, I don’t think I want to go back. The results are okay. Mostly, I’m disappointed.

So, like I’ve mentioned before, I have dark hair. I am Italian, so when the time came to consider some laser, I consulted a) Unilocal and b) a friend who had it done. Both led me to Aesthetic Laser Center of Seattle. The consult was quick and very informative. I did a ton of reading on-line before going in, so I only had a few questions. Kim was super nice and knowledgeable. I didn’t hear anything that scared me away, so I signed up for a package and made my first appointment. Scheduling was easy, but I have very flexible work hours, so scheduling isn’t ever a problem for me. I was a little nervous for my first treatment. It does hurt, but the pain isn’t like what I was expecting. You ice down the area, then a super cold laser delivers a hot snap. It was a little much for my underarms to handle at first(remember to take Advil prior to going in!!). But, it is over super quickly. About 15 zaps for each underarm, then a change to the settings(to be thorough — I appreciate that!) and another 15 zaps and I was up, slathering on the«aloe on steroids» and ready to book another appointment. After the treatment the area was fine immediately. It did take a week or so before I noticed that the hairs weren’t growing back in(but you can always shave in the mean time). Once again, this was expected, because Kim did a great job explaining to me what was going on and what I could expect. About 3 weeks after my first treatment I realized that my underarms were essentially hair free. Still the rogue hair that popped up occasionally, but pretty darn smooth(just like after waxing). I had my 2nd appointment today(4 weeks later), and Kim turned up the setting(once again, to be thorough). 15 zaps under each arm, switch the setting(different frequencies target hairs at different levels in the skin) and then 15 more and we’re done. The process takes about 15 minutes. I love going into The Stella Center for laser treatments. The setting is tranquil and the place is immaculate. If you’re reading this, you’re probably interested in laser hair removal, and you might be worried about the price. Fear not, they’re always running specials, so there’s no real reason not to give them a call and schedule a consult. You’ll be glad you did!

Update 3÷21÷07: As witnessed by my review below I was very excited to get all the hair under my arms lasered off — unfortunately that’s not exactly what happened. I went in for 5 sessions and spent quite a bit of money, and now my hair is lighter and thinner, but it is not gone. I went in with the impression that I would not have to shave again, and that this would be accomplished in about 5 sessions with maybe one or two more sessions necessary. Instead I’ve gone through all 5 and seen maybe a 25% reduction. At this rate I would need to go in for 15 more sessions to reach my «no shaving» target, and that would be a lot of time and a lot more money. The folks at Aesthetic Laser Center were very nice, and I was always pleased with my actual visit, I just wish they were a bit more up front with what the outcome would be. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — - Why would I ever want hair under my arms? Sure, I know, I have it for a reason, or so the Intelligent Design folks would like you to believe, or those Darwinists. But they are wrong, wrong I tell you. It’s a great big conspiracy to keep the razor companies in business. Fight the power and get it all lasered off! That’s right, no more shaving! No more forgetting to shave, and not being able to wear that cute sleeveless top. The good folks at Aesthetic Laser Center will rid you of all unwanted hair and it’s fairly painless. Well, painless nerve ending wise, it’s pretty painful on the wallet. However think of how much you will save on razors! Zap Zap!
