I don’t know why I hear people say they have issues with AT&T — I’ve had them since they were Cingular, for a total of 7.5 years now, and I have never had a significant issue with their customer service, either on the phone, or in the actual store. I always get good, clear connections without dropped calls, and have never been unable to make or receive calls because of location, even in poor reception area like basement apartments. I’ve had pretty good luck with equipment(phones, etc.) from them — the first phone I ever got was just a free phone that worked well after I’d upgraded to a more modern flip phone, and the Razr I had a couple of years ago worked fine long after I’d drunkenly dropped it on a concrete floor, causing the screen to crack badly. The few times I have had issues, it is usally due to user error, or is fixed simply. The few times I’ve had to replace phones the experience has been about what you would expect out of that — no miracles, but I ended up getting what I needed. Every time we go into this store to get new phones, the salespeople are helpful and friendly, and really take the time to do as much of the work for you as they can. They are also really good about seeing what discounts you are eligible for, and making sure you don’t lose them. Overall, I’ve been pretty darn happy with everything about AT& T, and I don’t mind going into this location to get new phones, or ask about our service.
