I am a huge fan of Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory, however this location is a joke. The prices may be the same as elsewhere, but everything was bad, so the prices seemed high, for bad stuff. There were two women working, one seemed in her late teens, and she was very friendly, but there was an older women who was so mean. I watched a lady wait forever to get someone to help her, and the older lady, just ignored her, and kept doing what she was doing, and eventually she turned to another group to help them. The other lady, was like really, and instead of apologizing, and saying I’ll be right with you, she still ignored her like she wasn’t there; and when it came to helping other people, she acted very put off to be having to help people, and you could tell that people were put off by her. I bought a chocolate covered marshmallow, the marshmallow was flavorless, and the whole thing didn’t taste right. The taffy that I got wasn’t very soft, and it didn’t taste very good either, not to mention that there weren’t a lot of options to choose from either. The cinnamon ones were the best of them all, but I couldn’t even get my kids to eat the rest of them, so that says a lot to me. I’d never go back there; go into town closer to the water if you want a treat, you’ll be so glad that you did. I felt ripped off.

I’ve been to RMCF in other cities and it is usually good. Not the best of the best, but sometimes chocolate is chocolate, right? This particular store either had old stock the day we were in or something is wrong with the recipes. I had some choc covered marshmallows & walnuts and the choc tasted stale and weird. I tried a choc covered pretzel and both ingredients tasted stale and BLEH. I got a cherry slushy(hey — it sounded good at the time) and it tasted like cough syrup gone bad. Weird, disappointing day at the chocolate shop!
