Wow trusted the reviews in Unilocal.Yes it looked run down but damn! So good. Husband had grand slam and I had relief pitcher with bacon. Burgers were great size, juicy and so tasty. Yup if you want A great burger come here. The honey mustard taste home made and a little zesty. Yummmmm

This place is so cute! I loved the hole in the wall charm, good bar food and a bartender that can mix great drinks off the cuff. If I am back in town I will swing back through.

This place is a little hidden gem on the side of the road going into or leaving Seaside. Stop in and enjoy the only pleasant service you are likely to encounter while in Seaside. The food is well made and generous and the staff are very good. Nothing out of the ordinary but all done well.

Fantastic find. Coming up the coast with an out of town visitor we stumbled upon The Relief Pitcher. It is a cozy place not quite a dive that you can tell is locally loved. The food is fantastic! We had the tuna reuben… Which was outstanding and perfect nothing fishy about this fish! Also had the shrimp boat with perfectly breaded shrimp. All their sauces are homemade and wonderful with an extra shout out to the amazing homemade mustards. We had drinks as well with fresh squeezed juice and a nice pour of booze. Our server was also very nice and was quick to suggest the best things they had. We would recommend this place and will definitely be back again!

My favorite place to eat in Seaside! Years and years I have been dropping in for the pastrami burger, my favorite, Oyster shooters, and beer! I have had everything on the menu at one time or another. I have never been disappointed. Have you been in during a full house? If the place is packed make sure you stop. I promise you will have a good time. Every Seaside local knows this place is outstanding and now, you know as well.

Great place for a relaxed drink and awesome food. Cheeseburger with grilled onions was delicious and homemade fries were hard to stop eating. Get the coleslaw too. Chill atmosphere, great service and HUGE outdoor space in the back with horseshoes. It’s like someone’s oversized backyard party with a full service bar and kitchen. Can’t wait to go back on a nice day and check out the outdoor space more.

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. A very local place the most tourists will pass by. The food is really top notch for a pub, and the staff friendly.

Tony, our waiter(maybe owner), was extremely friendly and made sure our food was out quickly. We ordered the oyster shooters. They were super fresh and soooo yummy! We also ordered the pastrami cheese burger and the grand slam(burger with: 2 slices of cheese, eggs, ham, and ground beef). Both were super good and huge. They also make natural fries with all the orders. Definitely recommend. FYI: It was not a place for children and there seems to be mostly locals here.

Random stuff all over the walls. Pool table. Buoy beer on tap — drink this. Homemade french fries — eat these. Sandwiches are huge. Outdoor patio and yard. Local guy came in, said: «Yeah, nice day outside.» «What’ll ya have today?» «I’ll have a beer… an American beer.» «Budweiser ok?» «Yeah, make it a light.» Great spot. Makes the list.

Relief Pitcher is outside of the touristy Seaside main drag and that’s a good thing. I get the impression this is a locals joint and I like hitting up those kind of places. I’ll cut right to it. We stopped there for the burgers we’d heard about, and burgers we got. Super legit. Simple, perfectly seasoned, greasy in the best way. More hand-cut fries on the side than either of us could eat. This wins in my book, every time. We each had a beer, but I was pleasantly surprised actually when offered that they do have fresh squeezed juices, should we like a cocktail. Didn’t really go with the burger/fries/beer that I was craving so I didn’t, but nice touch there. It’s the kind of homey, rough around the edges place I like. A bit divey, but welcoming. We’ll be back on our next trip to Seaside for sure.

The Relief Pitcher is the kind of place I love going to. It has a sort of dive-bar feel, but the fare is totally legit. The burger with cheddar and parmesan cheese was fantastic, as were the house-cut fries. Beer selection was good, but my wife and I had a huckleberry infused vodka with lemonade, and a madras, all made with fresh-squeezed juices and absolutely delicious. To top it off, the owner(?) Tony, was extremely friendly and kind, and we really enjoyed striking up a conversation with him. Definitely stop in — you’ll be really glad you did!

We stopped here because on an earlier«drive-by» looking for a place to grab a casual dinner, we noticed the place was packed with cars… thinking, this must be good if it’s that busy. And it is that good. Definitely a locals bar/restaurant, but as tourists we loved it. Our waiter/bartender was super friendly and attentive. There’s a pool table(free…ya don’t see that often) and 2 local young men provided great entertainment for us as they played a few games. There’s a horseshoe pit out back as well, multiple TV screens for game watching, and fascinating conversation going on between the locals at the bar. Hubby ordered an amazingly good grilled tuna fillet on sourdough. I couldn’t resist ordering the burger with Tillamook cheddar and grilled onions and avocado. We ate every last one of the hand-cut fresh crispy fries, even though we had to loosen our belt buckles to fit it all in. Burger was perfectly cooked, juicy and flavorful. Don’t bother with napkins… just lick your fingers and be done. Just wish we were beer lovers.
