First, I have to say that the arepas are super delicious! Well worth having. The portions are just right, not super-sized like a lot of places. The atmosphere is quiet and there was only one wait person while we were there.

Overpriced, ridiculously small portions for the overprice, slow, rude service and rotten sausage. Seriously hoping we don’t get sick from the one bite we had. The server was offended(once we could actually get her back to our table) we asked for bacon instead of the sausage, as it was definitely turned. She said it was the coriander. Definitely not. It was gamey and rotten. Pancakes were not great. 8-tables, two servers, and they couldn’t handle even that service. I have no idea why there are good reviews on this place. Obviously people don’t get out much or have any idea of what good is. It’s breakfast food people. Cheap to make. Easy to make it good. And portions should be at least enough to be filling.

Small portions but great food! I’m no expert on Arepas, but they were the highlight of our meal. We got the turkey sandwich and Arepas plate with black beans, corn, avocado and chicken and found everything to be pretty good. The turkey was thick cut(and delicious!) on ciabatta and everything on the Arepas plate was adequate. The only disappointing thing was the portions(which is to be expected at touristy locations). We don’t walk away from meals still hungry too often, but this place didn’t quite satisfy in that department. If your looking for good food on a lighter appetite, this place will be perfect for you; however, if you’re hoping for a decent lunch that will last you until dinner time, two entrees may not be enough and plan on spending a little more for a bowl of soup or an appetizer for a little extra.

What a tasty fun little gem in Seaside! I had been hearing about it so we went and checked it out and was very delighted and left with a happy tummy. We had breakfast there and I had the special of the day which was a mushroom herb frittata with a salad and it was fantastic! My husband got the biscuits and gravy and it was a little dry but had good flavor. We will be back to try more tasty selections on the menu. Keep up the good work!

This place was recommended to us for Breakfast/brunch by the owner of The Irish Table in Cannon Beach. It was a really good advice! The Garden Omelette(toasted zucchini, mushrooms, melted cheese) and the Orange juice(seems fresh squeezed even though they say it’s not) were delicious!

Pretty fantastic little joint near the beach. Several international options and a creative menu. My daughter declared their bear-shaped pancakes the best she’s ever had and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his breakfast burrito. My only complaint is that it’s a very carb/grain heavy menu and there weren’t many options for someone on a special diet, and their fruit portion was meager(though very ripe and delicious) when subbed for the potatoes and toast.

Yep, loved this place! What a unique and varied menu for such a little place! I had a south american dish I’d never heard of, but I could’ve had pancakes and eggs or lots of other stuff! I wish we had one in CO!

Staff, service, food all really great! We ate breakfast and lunch there, had the corn and cheese«dumplings», which were more like thin, crispy cakes. Also had the Bahn Mi pork sandwich(rich and slightly spicy), and the yogurt/fruit/granola(yummy)

Thank you, Unilocalers, for recommending this place. We both had bacon and eggs. The bacon was excellent and perfectly cooked, eggs were just right, home fries very nicely seasoned. I substituted arepas for the home fries, it was very good with my eggs. Service was attentive and friendly. 2 thumbs way up!

The food was great, the noise level almost unbearable. Sound deadening material was absent.

My husband and I just had breakfast at the Osprey Café. Unfortunately we were not pleased. I had the Huevos Ranchero plate and thought it was very dry and the black beans had a funny taste. The arenas were described as filled with cheese — couldn’t find the cheese. My husband had sausage and gravy. He did not like the consistency of the gravy — and the biscuits were very heavy. Sorry to say that the great Unilocal reviews did not hold true. Will not go back.

I seriously think it would be worth the 90 minute drive from Portland just to eat lunch here. Chicken n rice were so flavorful and delicious! I’d never had goat cheese in chicken n rice but it was awesome! Arepas with the breakfast plate were perfectly sweet and melted in the mouth. Best of all, the chicken in both dishes was quality meat and cooked to perfection. Sea salt chocolate chip cookie, purchased on the way out and eaten in the car… Probably the best I’ve ever had. If I’d eaten at the restaurant I would have bought a dozen to bring home!

When I think about Seaside, good food is not my first thought, but heading inland from the Oregon coast we didn’t want to wait for the big city for some good nosh. Cue handy olé Unilocal for some clues and possibilities including this cute little café down on U street about a block from the beach. We didn’t check the menu before arriving, but were pleasantly surprised when we got here. Several international options — Peruvian, Indonesian, Mexican, Hungarian and some standard American for the less adventurous. Huevos Rancheros and Arepas plate were slightly different in composition, but both definitely tasty. Loved the Arepas with the Huevos. Really loved the Arepas all around. Soup of the day was also quite tasty. One of three outside tables allowed us to chill in the warm day with fresh ocean breezes and our pups by our side. Service was very friendly. Five plus stars for this little breakfast/brunch/lunch gem in Seaside. We are glad to know you now.

What a cute little spot off the beaten path in Seaside! My lady friends and I made our yearly pilgrimage to Gearhart, and we often end up brunching in nearby Seaside. Options are limited. This little place popped on the Unilocal-sphere and we were relieved to have found a place with fresh food that was a bit of a walk/drive from Broadway. Pig n’ Pancake this is not. The choices are light and fresh, as is the décor. I went for the arepas(yeah, breakfast arepas FTW) and they were very good. My other gals got the french toast, which was also delicious. Each dish came with an adorable little cup of fresh fruit, I just wish it was a larger portion. Service lacked much personality, but they were attentive and prompt. We will definitely be back for breakfast when in town.

This place is SLOW. I’m not sure what the hype is all about. We were a group of 4 and we waited over 50 min to get our subpar breakfast food. Even though we were seated and got our order taken first, we watched them serve 3 sets of pairs well before us — I literally saw them get served and finish eating before we got our food. There were also 2 ladies that were seated in the back corner, but eventually left after waiting over 20min trying to wave someone down. The restaurant isn’t even that big but they’re completely backed up in taking orders, serving food and evening paying. When we went up to pay I heard the guy(who I think is the owner) yell at the server«I have too much going on right now! Ring them up!» and ran around frantic. Also, the French toast we got was probably the worst French toast we’ve ever had. It came last to the table and the server apologizes and said it was running late because the fire went out… well it appears they didn’t even bother to to finish cooking it because the French toast was completely soggy, mushy and barely edible. Definitely won’t be returning for the incredibly slow service and soggy french toast of a restaurant. If you want real breakfas at Cannon Beach, go to Firehouse Grill; best breakfast place and the owner is super nice!

Wondered down the street from our new place at the beach & found ourselves in this amazing establishment. Walking non the door you are first impressed by the adorable beach décor — I’d say it’s decorated perfectly. They offer a great menu with items I wasn’t even sure to pronounce but every single item that was ordered was 100% amazing. This place is not just your normal average beach café — from the décor to the latte to the food is give it a A+++ I’ll be back

Read the Unilocal reviews. Also recommended by our hotel. We made the walk… the LONG walk from one end of the Prom to the other… to reach this destination and it did not disappoint. So good we are heading back for breakfast again today! Two days in a row. Clean. Cute. Delicious. What else is there to say? Oh, our breakfast yesterday? Well, after waiting about 10 – 15 minutes for a table, we got a booth with the«foreign currency» inlaid in the table. Story behind that: it’s all the extra money the owners have collected over the years and in their many travels abroad. Kinda neat. I’m a sucker for the special. Our server said its«to die for» and has served over forty of them with everyone cleaning their plate. How could I go wrong? I ordered the schnitzel. Daughter went for their signature biscuits & gravy, sub a pancake for the eggs. Wife went with a Denver omelet. Three lattes(someone said they are the best in town) and one fresh squeezed orange juice. Took awhile for our food to arrive, but I’m not complaining. We sipped our coffees & enjoyed visiting. The owner brought out a complimentary Danish that was delicious. He apologized for the delay. We assured him it was no problem. The lattes were, in fact, quite good. When our food arrived, the first words out of both my wife & daughters mouth: «Oh my God, that smells wonderful». It was MY schnitzel. They both had a bite before I took one and it was pretty much decided then & there we were coming back again today. Everything was really good. Loved it all. Time to get my arse in gear and head to the Osprey Café!

You should go here. We went for breakfast, and it was delicious! Coffee, cinnamon rolls, the best scrambled eggs I’ve had in a while and a great server. Also the biscuits and gravy are to die for. Plus, they make there own home made sausage. This place is small, and the wait can be long, but worth it. Also, the prices were reasonable for the amount if food you received. Plus, you can walk down to the beach after, and burn off that gravy. So good.

Very Friendly and Informative about a wonderfully eclectic international menu. We had the Arapas plate and Really enjoyed it! Also had the Nasi Goreng which was like an elevated fried rice with fun shrimp crackers. Even though it was raining outside the interior was bright and nicely decorated. Will definitely return for not only the good food but a lovely walk along the Promenade.
