While home for the holidays, my parents had been dealing with an ant infestation, and then I saw a rat on my second night home! I called Monterey Pest Control, and they sent a technician over the very next day! The technician took care of the ants with a natural ant bait, and then trapped 3 rats! He explained to me where we need to do repairs to keep the rodents from coming back.
If you are ever unfortunate enough to need pest control assistance, Monterey Bay Pest Control is the best!

I have worked closely with this company for years. Their knowledge and experience far exceeds other companies. I have witnessed first hand their rodent exclusion and Bee removal work and it is top notch! The technicians are friendly and will take the time to explain how to prevent pests, and educate the customer. When it comes to pest control, mosquito control, knowledge and experience this company is superb. I have also seen their low toxicity approach and it is amazing!

These guys are lazy! The guy Ray came to my house. I told him the ants were under the house and I’d preffer that sprayed before having my house interior sprayed. He pretty much refused to go under the house despite the fact that there is ample room down there. You’d think they would preffer to spray the source of the problem and not just up above. Anyhow I told him he could spray a tiny bit inside but my son is SUPER sensitive to chemicals. The jerk DOUSED the whole interior of my kitchen and all of my pots and pans. My dog ran in and tried to lick the stuff he sprayed so I had to immedialtely clean up what he sprayed. I then got to clean all of my pots and pans. He didnt even try to be careful. The best part… the ants found a different way to come into my house from underneath it. This place is a joke

I have a problem with gophers at my house and paid Monterey Bay Pest Control $ 275 to trap them. There was fresh new mounds found every couple of days but the person who set the traps failed entirely to catch a single gopher. The day he arrived to pull all his traps there were several new mounds so the activity remains and we wasted time and money thinking that Monterey Pest Control knew what they were doing.
One engages the services of a pest control company that they will eliminate the pests but with my house they removed not a single pest. They really do not know what they are doing but charge a high rate nonetheless.
For $ 275 I would have been better off buying a dozen gopher traps. I would at least now have the traps instead of only more mounds of dirt in the yard.

Rey came over to inspect our bedroom when we thought we might have had bed bugs. He was very courteous and thorough and it turns out we didn’t have bed bugs at all. It was great to have some peace of mind by having a professional come and inspect our place. I would recommend his service to anybody.

it was a horrible mess! I contacted MBPC to come out and eliminate the spider problem in the Pebble Beach mansion that I managed. They sent one of their applicators out to spray the residence. The spray left a sticky residence on everything! My housekeeper and I had to literally scrape the sticky residue off of everything! A local plant grower told me that MBPC had over-​applied I called the owner and complained. She came out to the job site and denied any responsibility. Not their fault. She claimed that her company does this treatment all the time to museums in the area. «Where. I asked?». She could not tell me because of «Client Confidentliaity». Needless to say, if you have any fine art in your house, and fabrics, and flooring, cherished pets or any fine automobiles, don’t let Monterey Bay Pest Control into your house!

The woman who owns this business is atrocious! She is extremely rude and has an extreme lack for costumer service. However, the service men were very pleasant… so pleasant that one visit he shared with me that the state regulates pest control companies so much that we are better off going to our local home stores for concentrated spray because it works much better and is a fraction of the cost! Thanks for the tip, young man! Steer clear of this company.
