Half the time we go to drive through their drive-thru, one of their employees is standing right out back by where you place your order smoking a cigarette. Seriously, I know these places are run by kids and all, but do these people not at least have the common sense to smoke some place other than where they prepare people’s food or where people have to order? Nothing is more annoying that having some clown smoking 10 feet away from where we have to roll our window down to place an order at the drive through. Whoever the manager is at this place, they must be a complete imbecile. Look, I don’t care if you hate yourself and wanna treat your body like a toxic waste dump — just don’t do it where I’m trying to eat. It’s gotten so bad we don’t even bother going there any more.

Ordered a whopper and a large fries. Burger was excellent, my only complaint is that the large fries were very small. There are probably less fries in a Burger King large fry than a McDonald’s Medium fry. Otherwise great meal, lots of flavor. A solid three star meal.

I really wish I could give no stars!!! The people that work here are so RUDE!!! I went through the drive thru and my food was tossed to me in a bag, the chick working the window was beyond rude. Not sure how she keeps her job. And these people want 15 bucks an hour!!!

Today I ordered a shake and large onion rings, I asked for ketchup and BBQ sauce, the guy on the drive though only gave me one BBQ sauce, I asked if I could have a second BBQ sauce. He said no, because he had already given me one already. Advice: If you don’t enjoy working at the location or job you are doing, better be looking some where else with that customer service. They just re-opened and my second attempt to give it a try. The first time while waiting in line they decided to mess with the register while having a line of 7 waiting to place orders. They could not figure out how to disconnect it then once they did it was obvious the person did not have the experience I de Mmmmmm to run the registrar. Another person left and so did I. I actually like BK as a franchise… love the Whopper and Chicken sandwiches… and my daughter goes berserk for the chicken fries… when they have them. Anyway, this particular BK, at Hwy 68 and Canyon Del Rey is a mess. To be fair the food is OK… the staff friendly… but their Drive-thru…STINKS! This BK has messed up our Drive-thru orders enough that we went from having to return after getting home, to checking the order before leaving the parking lot, to checking the order while still at the window! Which is something I hate as its not fair to those waiting behind us. Now mind you… we do not make special orders or make huge 12 people orders… a simple family of 3… that’s it. After a dozen visits… we don’t go here any longer, unless we go inside, but even then… they mess up, the main difference being we are still in the BK to get the issue fixed on the spot. Now what’s worse still is that I’ve complained to their store manager… promised free meals, which were never received as the manager was never there to give them when we were there… and calling their district manager and corporate franchise offices… resulting in nothing… no phone call, apology, nothing. Well…maybe I’m a fool for expecting better of a fast food joint… or maybe we all are for allowing any business to get away with not doing its best.

We came in for breakfast this morning and both got their #1 Combo a Crossanwitch with satisfires instead of hash browns and orange juice. They only gave us both 2 very small pieces of egg on our Crossanwitched. Which was weird. The Satisfries were good. They also made us pull out and park even though no one was behind us I would have wrote to the corporate office but they didn’t give us a receipt and you need that info.

Updated, modernized BK with amenities for computer users. Fresh Double Whopper and onion rings. Coke machine can give you so many combinations of soda. Nice area for a little chat and coffee.

I don’t really get fast food ever but I was in a hurry to get to work. I had about 10 minutes and I figured this would be enough time. I went in to order with my friend. We ordered 2 Biscuit sandwich meals with a medium combos. After we paid, we were told there was only one biscuit so my friend switched to a different meal. We waited for 20 minutes, yes 20 minutes at a fast food restaurant. Then when we got everything, they had given us a small combo. This kind of service explains their ratings. I hate giving bad reviews but I have no other choice on this one

I have had more bad experiences at this burger king then good. My latest endeavor i ordered a Pulled Pork sandwich, they took my order and i proceeded to the drive thru. When i made it to the window the cashier tells me they are out of the pork. Then she asks me what I want? I don’t have a freaking menu in front of me! So I then go to my recent favorite, the Carolina Whopper. She tells me they are out of the Carolina sauce and asks if that is okay… Now WAIT, what is a Carolina whopper without the sauce? A regular WHOPPER. I told her ill take the normal one with cheese… Absolutely the worst service I have ever had! This is my first post on Unilocal so this clearly should represent my frustration. A few other recent problems at this burger king– — Ordered a breakfast burrito and got a COLD almost frozen burrito(they must plop these in the microwave). — Had a large order that they missed several items(noticed after I drove home!) — Oah and I almost forgot, the many times I have had cold soggy fries… This is the last time I will ever visit BURGERKING. They ruined my experience from here on out! I Highly recommend skipping this restaurant indefinitely.

New, chic building with the new soda fountain(Coca-Cola Freestyle I think it’s called) that has hundreds of flavors of soda. It’s very clean and much more accessable from the sidewalk. Decent food, but, of course, caloric. Thankfully they have some lower calorie options. The last time I went, it was pretty fast.

I’ve went here a few times in the last couple weeks. It’s sucked each time. The first time the person taking the order just couldn’t understand«M&M sundae» for the life of her. Took about 2 minutes just to get through that agony. Then proceeding up the line, the single car in front of me took 5-ish minutes(well, they didn’t, BK did). Then I came up(already in a rush, I was just on my lunch break), and they took my card, walking away with it instead of using the machine RIGHT there in my sight, and then gave me my drink before my card… Then they got my food and sundae, and left them on the counter in front of my for 2 minutes. Come on, all you had to do was stick them through the window, and give them to me. That’s NOTVERYHARD!!! The most recent time I ordered a pie and a shake. The pie was fine, but the shake was over filled and spilled all over my brand new car. I paid cash this time, so they couldn’t run away with my card again. I’ll just go to the nearest Subway… faster and better food, even if I can’t get a shake.

Went thru drive thru. Just ordered a whopper with cheese and 2 five piece chicken fingers. They asked me to pull to the front. I did. Seven cars go thru and seven minutes later no food. I had two hungry kids in the car. I went in. I walked to the front of the line and asked what the problem was. They pulled the meals together, messed up on the Whopper and didn’t give me the size fry I paid for. No real apology. Not the BK I remember.

I was looking forward to the opening of this location for the two months they took to rebuild it, and when I visited yesterday, I was extremely disappointed. Granted It is just a fast food joint, but this was ridiculous. We waited literally 10+ minuets to order being two cars behind the speaker box, we should have known to leave then and head to Carls. Jr or Phat burger. We waited 20+ minuets for our food at a dead stop in the drive through being stuck in line at each space for way too long. When we had finally approached the window, I waited multiple minuets to be approached. I was ready with my ATM card. The person comes back, after I gave her my credit card and she had rung through the bill, ASKEDMEWHATDRINKSWEHAD. I am like — seriously you were just looking at our receipt, where the drinks are listed, and you should know anyway. So I re ordered my drinks as she spent 5+ minuets making them. This is the moment where I realize why the drive-thru is moving so slow. The flustered lady hands me all of our drinks using both hands to hold all 3. Ok, first of all, that is not how you go about it. You hand the drinks to the customer one at a time, or in a tray. If you are going to hold 3 drinks at a time, you hold two in one hand, and one in the other, not the amateur way she did. If she was going to hold them that way, she should have set them down before and pass one at a time, or at least realized it was incorrect when I indicated there was a struggle. I said, «I dont know how im supposed to grab the drinks like that.» She just proceeded to hand them to me the same incorrect way, causing me to nearly drop all three drinks in the middle of the drive-thru. At last, our food arrives missing a few things, crumpled in the drive thru persons fist with«thank you.» My response was, excuse me can we please have some sauces and her response was«yeah» not«sorry what would you like» so we ordered sauce, one that they were out of. The workers had given us no straws nor napkins either. So we had to wait and ask for those too. BADBADSERVICE… I even mentioned the fries were cold and the lady ignored me. Do not visit this location until they get their sh*t together!

I heart Whoppers and Bk Broliers…(are the Broilers still on the menu?). It’s been a while since I hit up this location but when I was in high school this was the closest«fastfood» restaurant. We’d play hookie hit up here and Carl’s Jr. I played a couple hours of tennis everyday and chased the boys around all day when I was younger so I could eat anything I want. Now not so much. One cool thing I got from my Dad is that we know how to appreciate great food, cheap hole in the wall Chinese restaurants in the city(San Francisco) you know the ones with the Pekind Duck hanging side by side in the windows and it was«ok» to enjoy an occasional burger from a fastfood joint. My Mom on the other hand would say«Eww» but she too enjoys a Spicy Chicken Sandwich(not the 99 cent one) from Crack in the Box. I would say I’m well rounded because of them… foodwise.
