Bagels By the Sea

I eat here all the time! It’s the best spot for lunch! It has a drive through but the inside is very welcoming to walk into n hangout! Idk whare else u can still go n get a hot lunch for under $ 3 !!! Love it!!!

Bagels were great. «The Works» (their everything bagel) with garlic and herb cream cheese was fantastic. Their coffee and espresso are great too. They have a drive through and sit down dining room. Service was functional but «meh». But not so bad to knock them down a star.

I got here very early to get a fresh bagel and believe me that was not a fresh bagel. They told me it was baked fresh that morning but I know for a fact it wasn’t. I love Bagels I would go to Bruegger Bagels all the time in California I know what a fresh Bagel is. Also be ready to be charged $ 0.40 if you use your debit or credit card.

Oh my gosh… in house made bagels couldn’t be better. Very good espresso drinks. Love this place! Honestly this my new favorite coffee place. lovely atmosphere. roomie. no one is crowded in. Great service. Thanks!

Many people are soup fanatics… This place should really focus on making a very good homemade soup everyday.

The food and service here was great! We love our bagels & these were top notch. Cream chesses were very good as well. Customer service was awesome. Loved this place and will def go back. Thank you Bagels By the Sea for a great experience!

Yes the bagels good but the service sucks. The girl taking our order seemed stressed and the place wasn’t busy at all. She was completely rude for no reason, our order was simple. I will no longer recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing fresh bagels and delicious white chocolate mochas! I had a cheese & jalapeño bagel with cream cheese and my friend had the eggle bagel sandwich which she said was amazing (it looked amazing!). The interior is spacious, cute, and clean and there is plenty of parking in the lot. The lady working the counter was very sweet and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back to this place when we visit Seaside on vacation again!

Randomly drove by this place and it was exactly what we were looking for. We had the herb cream cheese and lox on focaccia and a bacon, cheese, and avocado bagel on cheddar jalapeño. They were excellent! I also had an Irish cream latte that was one of the better coffee drinks I’ve had in a while!

I had stopped and bought some fresh cold smoked lox in Astoria and asked where to get a good bagel and was sent here. Once we arrived and I saw the menu I was able to save the lox I bought and try their bagel with cream cheese with capers and lox and red onions. I was impressed, it was the best I’ve had since leaving New England.

The bacon cheddar Bagel is the best bagel EVER!!! I love this bagel shop! Every time we are in Seaside we come here. :) yummy

Comfortable place with lots of seating options — booths, tables, comfy armchairs, and outdoor seating. But the mocha tasted like something I might make at home with hot chocolate mix and a splash of milk; espresso was not in evidence. My husband wanted unsweetened iced tea and was advised that his options were either their sweet tea or bottled cold tea from the cooler ($ 3.25). The young lady working the counter seemed remarkably unhappy to be waiting on us, to the point that I double-​checked to make sure we hadn’t come in at closing time. My smile netted an almost-​hostile stare that lasted throughout our transaction, and I felt like apologizing for bothering her. I might come again for the living-​room atmosphere when I have time to kill in Seaside, but not for the coffee or customer service.

Amazing Bagels! The atmosphere was awesome, and the bagels were even better. Lots of good options to choose from & they don’t short you on the cream cheese like most places. YUM.

You know the type of «bagel» grocery stores are selling these days? They have the texture of soft bread and no hole in the middle? The kind that most people buy into because they’re puffier and bigger than real bagels?
This is achieved by skipping the boiling step required of creating a chewey, real bagel. Not only is that the crap they serve, they automatically toast them. A trick that Quiznos learned so they can serve day old bread.
If you like puffy bread with the same finishes as real bagels (sesame seeds, garlic, etc) and prefer paying much more than what the grocery stores are passing off as bagels these days, then you’ve found the right place. Even if Safeway is a couple of blocks away.

Had the brunch bagel here the other day… yum! Great spot for a well-​priced breakfast. Drip coffee was also good. I also love the space (former bank?) with the high ceilings. Well done!

Arrived at 2:40pm pretty quickly chose my order stepped up to the counter order a mocha and bagel the young girl taking my order says just to let you know we close at 3:00pm. My response was what does that mean for us she replies we have to lock the doors at 3:00pm my next question so your telling me that at 3:00pm your going to ask us to leave the girl looks around at her co-​workers and says yes you will be asked to leave. To make sure we were clear I asked again if I am eating when it’s time for you to close I will have to get up and leave? Yes was my answer. I left and went somewhere else I have never been told to leave while eating in any food establishment because it was time to close. Will never attempt to eat there again.

Coffee and cappuccino is fantastic, righteous… on the point!

Good service. Great bagels. Had a garlic bagel with cream cheese. My sister has one of the breakfast sandwiches. They make Expresso Coffee, it is alright. I like how they have a drive thru, we most likely will be back.

This is one of the best bagel places I have been to. The bagels were delicious and actually taste like the flavor they are supposed to (might sound silly but all too many times this has not been the case at other places) and there’s so many to choose from. The cream cheeses are excellent and there’s a good variety of flavors as well.
I really liked the add ons for the bagels such as sprouts, tomatoes, etc.
I would highly recommend giving this place a try, we went twice while on vacation here which we rarely do so I think that says something about our level of satisfaction with these bagels!

Really excellent bagels and coffee. I would recommend this for breakfast or a snack. They also had bagel sandwiches as well.
They charge if you use a card, so cash is best.
The lady who took our order was very nice, and they brought our food out to us. If your visiting in the area, swing in this place and grab a bagel!

Great for A Inexpensive Breakfast and Good Coffee in seaside. A regular stop for me. Very good Breakfast Sammiches !!!
