We had a great weekend. There are several short hikes, lots of trees, and close to Sealy if you need any forgotten items. You will travel down a bumpy road to get the the gate entrance. Just trust your navigation system. For some reason my iphone changed 1893 Trechmann Rd, Sealy to 1893 Sealy which is about 20 min from Camp Brosig. If you plan to teach or hold lots of activites, I would rent the covered area and if needed the kitchen. It has a commercial gas range, a few small microwaves, a coffee urn, a large freezer and a fridge. The do have several water coolers. The water in the kitchen tasted fine. The bathrooms are basic. The have a fun hand washing station. No showers. No electricity except at the pavilion We were able to drive up to our campsite to unload our equipment and then park the cars along the driving areas. The camp site needs some work and a little run down. It’s a BSA camp. The ground is very soft and tons of gofer or mole piles. You will need extra long stakes or do like us, we used our water cooler to make an anchor for our tent. We didn’t have flies or mosquitoes, however, it was November.
